Открытый урок по английскому языку в 8 классе по теме
“Going on a trip” («Отправляемся в путешествие»)
Цель урока: знакомство с тем, как правильно спланировать своё путешествие за
границей.
Задачи урока:
Активизировать лексику по теме «Путешествие». Совершенствовать навыки
диалогической речи. Развивать способность к сотрудничеству. Обобщить
грамматический материал (модальные глаголы). Совершенствовать навыки говорения.
Ход урока:
1. Организационный момент. Приветствие.
Учитель: ‘Good morning! Glad to see you! Take your seats, please!’
Учащиеся приветствуют друг друга. “Hello, I wish you luck” (здороваются, подходя
друг ко другу, приветствуя рукопожатием)
Учитель: ‘Let’s begin our lesson. Today we continue speaking on the topic “Travelling”.
2. Речевая зарядка.
Слайд №1 «Five most popular destinations for Russian tourists abroad».
Учитель: ‘Look at the slide and answer my questions, please.’
1.Учитель: ‘Have you ever been to any of these countries?’
Предполагаемые ответы учащихся: “Yes, I have been to… this summer.’
‘ My family spent two weeks at the sea. We swam /played/saw the sights/went on a tour/
went shopping/etc. there.’
2.Учитель: ‘Where do people travel?’
Предполагаемые ответы учащихся: ‘People travel abroad /to different countries/ around
their own country/to the countryside/to far-off destinations.’
3.Учитель: Would you like to travel abroad?
Предполагаемые ответы учащихся: Yes, I would/No, I wouldn’t because…
(аргументируя свой ответ)
4. Учитель: ‘What documents do people need for travelling abroad?’
Предполагаемые ответы учащихся: ‘For travelling abroad people need a visa/a passport/
tickets/ a voucher for a hotel/etc.’
3. Основная часть урока.
Учитель: Well, great! It is very nice of you. The topic of our lesson is “Going on a trip”.
(‘Сегодня мы поговорим о том, как правильно спланировать своё путешествие.
Сначала повторим с вами слова, которые нам пригодятся сегодня на уроке’)
Учитель: Repeat after me and translate, please. Слайд №2.
Tour, tourism, an agency, an agent, accommodation, an excursion, a guided tour, on
one’s own, holiday destination, a resort, go on a trip, a holidaymaker, a package
holiday, have a habit of, go abroad, afford something, travel, travelling tips for visitors, get
a visa, a passport, a customs officer, a leaflet.
Учитель: А теперь, ребята, запишите свои ожидания, т. е. то, чего вы хотите добиться,
что хотите узнать на уроке и предполагаемый результат урока. Поместите в наш
большой конверт. В конце урока мы зачитаем некоторые из ваших записок.
Учитель: So, going on a trip is a very exciting activity. We need to plan it carefully. The
plan should go in the correct order. Look at the slide, you see some of these steps, read and
try to arrange them in the correct order.
• Учащиеся должны построить правильную логическую последовательность
шагов по планированию путешествия.
Слайд №3.
- arrive in the place of destination
- go to the station or to the airport
- visit a travel agency
- enjoy your holidays
- read the travel leaflet
- get a visa
- take a passport
Учитель: You can make a plan of your trip according to this one. You get a visa, visit a
travel agency, read the travel leaflet, take a passport, go to the station or to the airport, arrive
at the place of destination, enjoy your holidays.
4.Cовершенствование диалогической речи.
Учитель: Answer my questions, please.
• Teacher: Would you like to become a travel agent?
Student: Yes, I would/No, I wouldn’t.
• If the student’s answer is positive:
Teacher: Why would you like to become it?
Student: I’ d like to travel a lot, learn many interesting facts about other countries,
learn foreign languages, make new friends, etc.
Учитель: Today you have a chance to act the roles of travel agents. There are
different situations which can occur at a travel agency.
I want you to act out these dialogues in pairs.
You have 5-7 minutes to prepare and we will listen to your dialogues.
Составьте диалоги «В туристическом агенстве» по плану, который вы
видите на слайде. (Слайд №4).
Destination. Time of leaving. Holiday activities. Documents.
Учащиеся разыгрывают диалоги «В туристическом агентстве».
Учитель: What modal verbs do you know? (must, need, should).
Look at the slide. Read the information from a leaflet for visitors to Russia.
Fill in the gaps in the sentences with the modal verbs “must” or “should”.
(Слайд №5).
‘All visitors to Russia ___________fill in a customs declaration ON ARRIVAL.
Every tourist __________ have a medical insurance.
If you travel on your own, you ________ make an airplane ticket reservation.
If you are lost when travelling, you __________ ask a policeman for help’.
5. Заключительный этап урока.
Учитель: Our lesson is finishing soon.

6. Зачитать несколько карточек с ожиданиями учащихся.
Учитель: You’ve done a very good job!
