«What do you know about the USA?»

Мероприятие, в рамках которого будет реализован сценарий:

неделя иностранных языков

Предмет: английский язык

Возрастная группа: 10-11 классы

Название сценария: игра - викторина

«What do you know about the USA?»

Цели:

1. Обобщить страноведческие знания учащихся, полученные на уроках

английского языка.

2. Воспитывать интерес к изучению предмета.

3. Развивать неподготовленную речь учащихся.

Образовательные задачи:

Проконтролировать степень усвоения основных умений и навыков,

изученных и сформированных на предыдущих уроках.

Развивающие задачи:

1. Развивать умение работать в коллективе и принимать совместное

решение;

2. Развивать положительные личностные качества (ответственность,

доброжелательность, чувство взаимопомощи).

3. Развивать и тренировать внимание, память, мышление.

Воспитательные задачи:

Воспитывать уважение к культуре своей страны и стран изучаемого языка

Лингвострановедческие задачи:

1. Формировать интерес к странам изучаемого языка

2. Познакомить с различными историческими данными данных

государств.

Подготовительный этап:

Оформление класса: плакаты с достопримечательностями США, портреты

американских писателей и выдающихся деятелей Америки.

Ведущий: учитель английского языка,

помощники: 3 учащихся - члены жюри.

Время реализации: 1час 30 минут

Авторский медиапродукт: Microsoft Office Power Point

Вид медиапродукта: презентация

Необходимое оборудование и материалы: компьютер, проектор,

интерактивная доска, ресурсы сети Интернет.

Ход сценария:

Учитель: Good morning dear friends, I am glad to see you here. Hope you are

well!

Do you like to play games? Today you will have a happy chance to take part in

a very interesting game “What do you know about the USA?”.

I will divide you into two teams. You will choose your captains.

Now meet our Jury!

We will have 5 rounds. Round I - History, Round II- Literature, Round III –

Education, Culture, Science, Round IV – Famous People , Round V – Captain’s

Duel . Each round will have several questions to discuss. Each answer has its

price. Try to get as many points as you can. Good luck!

Учитель приветствует учащихся и сообщает им о проведении мероприятия

“Что ты знаешь о США?”. Данная игра проводится по правилам,

предварительно разработанным учителем. В игре принимают участие 10- 12

человек. Учащиеся делятся на две команды и выбирают капитанов.

Остальные учащиеся – болельщики.

Участники обеих команд отвечают на вопросы, и в случае правильного

ответа получают очки, которыми оценивается данный вопрос.

Капитаны команд проводят виртуальные экскурсии по городам Америки,

показывая свои презентации.

Заключение: учитель предлагает членам жюри подвести итоги игры,

благодарит учащихся за активное участие и награждает победителей

сувенирами.
