Цель урока: формирование коммуникативной компетентности обучающихся.
Задачи урока:
Практические:
- развитие умения в говорении;
-развитие умения диалогической речи (диалог-расспрос).

-расширение общего и филологического кругозора;
- создание положительной мотивации.
Воспитательные:
-воспитание активности и умения принимать самостоятельные решения;

Warm-up:
Good afternoon! You all are
fond of sport: watching sport
competitions on TV or going in
for different kinds of sport. So,
today we are going to have a
lesson devoted to history of
Olympic Games. It is a sports
quiz consisting of 4 rounds.
The topics of them are: “The
History of the Olympic
Games”, “The Olympic
Champions of my country,
Nizhegorodskaya Region ”,
“National sports of Great
Britain and the USA”,the game
“The INTERVIEWER.”
– Do you do sport?
– What’s your favourite kind of
sport?
– Have you ever watched the
Olympic Games?
– Do you know what city was
chosen to be the place of the
Olympics in the year 2014?
– Do you know who will open
them?
– Now I would like you to
imagine that today we’re the
members of the Olympic
Committee and our task is to
choose a sportsman, who will
open the Olympics in Sochi.

are a lot of popular games.

I think you know a lot of
information about sport. Try to
divide kind of sports into four
categories. There are individual
games, extreme sport, ball
games, sport done to music.
