Тема урока «Что мы можем сделать чтобы спасти планету?».
Тип урока: Комбинированный (Закрепление нового материала)
Цель урока: развитие навыков аудирования, введение и активизация новой лексики по теме
«Как спасти Землю».
Задачи урока:
Обучающие: совершенствование коммуникативных умений; увеличение объема знаний по
теме; увеличение объема используемых лексических единиц, создать условия для осознанного
применения знаний. Стимулировать интерес ребят к определенным проблемам,
предполагающим владение определенной суммой знаний и через проектную деятельность,
предусматривающую решение проблем, показать практическое применение полученных
знаний.
Развивающие: продолжить развитие навыков аудирования; монологического
высказывания по теме; развитие лексических и грамматических навыков. Формировать
умения сравнивать, обобщать и делать выводы по предложенной теме. Развивать умения
учащихся работать в группах и самостоятельно, объективно оценивать свои знания.
Воспитательные: воспитывать культуру общения, чувство ответственности за результаты
своего труда, сопереживания, совершенствовать навыки групповой работы.
Оборудование: учебник и тетрадь, компьютер, интерактивная доска, мультипроектор, эскизы
планет на каждого ученика, бумажные цветы-ромашки. презентация, раздаточный материал.
Формы организации познавательной деятельности: фронтальная, групповая, парная.
Эпиграф к уроку: «If you don’t think about the future, you will not have it».
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент
-Good day! Sit down, please. I am glad to see you. I hope that you are fine and full
energy and ready to do our lesson interesting and rich. Today we have an unusual
lesson with you, because as you see there are some guests at our lesson and I think
you’ll show today your good knowledge.
-Watch a short video and guess the problem what we are going to discuss.( Просмотр
видеоклипа «Save the Earth» для постановки цели урока. Цели записываются на
слайде презентации. )
(- Ecological problems; - How to save our planet; - Protection of the Earth.
S.1: I think we shall discuss the problems of pollution of our environment.
S.2: I guess we shall discuss how we can save the Earth from pollution. )
-You are right. We’re going to discuss what we can do to save the Earth.
Look here, this is an apple. Imagine that it is the earth, now I will cut it. These 3
quarters is water and only this part is land. You understand that if we won’t protect our
land it could destroy and we’ll dye. That’s why environmental problems and ecology
play the main role in the people’s life.
The motto of our lesson are the words by John Golsworthy “If you don’t think about
the future, you will not have it” (Если ты не подумаешь о будущем, у тебя его
может не быть).
- You will decorate your planets with flowers-who will be the best planet gardener like
the little Prince.(каждый ученик дома нарисовал по шаблону для себя планету,
которую будет в течение урока украшать полученными ромашками за
правильные ответы)
- But first we have to discuss the environmental problems.
2. Речевая зарядка
-We live on the earth. The Earth is our home. Am I right? It’s wonderful, isn’t it?
Prove that: The Earth is a wonderful place to live.
(P1: The Earth is very big. There is a lot of water on the earth. It is in rivers, lakes,
seas and oceans. There are lot of forests and fields, hills and mountains on it. The
Earth is full of wonders. Different animals live on the Earth. Different plants grow on
it. The Earth is beautiful.)

3. Фонетическая зарядка.
-And now let’s have some phonetic drill. Listen to the poem written by a British girl
Mirriam Mley. Say if you agree or disagree with her. Open your books at p.53, ex. 50.
Read the poem yourselves.
( Учащиеся прослушивают запись с аудиодиска, затем кто-нибудь из учащихся
читает стихотворение вслух).
The world needs a friend
To love and depend on
In times of trouble…

And if we do it right

T: What is the main idea of the poem?

- As for me I think that the girl is right. Sometimes people are not kind to our nature
and wildlife.
- Our planet needs protection not only from children.
- We must help to save endangered animals and plants, clear up forests, rivers and
seas. )

4. Введение новой лексики.
- Learn new words to speak about the environmental problems. You can find them in
ex. 51, p.53. Work on pronunciation. Repeat after me, please.
-Translate the phrases in chain.
(Переведите фразы. Используйте их для составления своих предложений.
Keys:
to avoid such people — избегать таких людей;
to avoid talking to.../using something — стараться не разговаривать
с.../использовать что-то;
to avoid being recognized — стараться не быть узнанным;
the least money / time — меньше всего денег / времени;
at least — по меньшей мере.
I avoid people who tell lies. Я избегаю людей, которые говорят неправду.
Не spent at least 1000 dollars on his new suit yesterday.
Вчера он потратил, по крайней мере, 1000 долларов на свой новый костюм.)
- Give advice to your friends. Use the word "avoid". See ex. 52 on p. 53. Choose
one of the tasks under the letters a), b) or c). Read the example. Think a little.
Now give your advice one by one without a stop. If you stop you are out of the
game.
(Дайте совет вашим друзьям, начав его со слова «избегайте»:
а) когда они идут на пикник;
в) когда они собираются покататься на велосипедах в городе / или загородом;
с) когда они собираются путешествовать вокруг мира.
Пример. Старайтесь не брoсать мусор загородом.
Avoid throwing away cans, bottles and packets in the country. He выбрасывайте
банки, бутылки и пакеты загородом.
Avoid riding bicycles along roads, crowded with cars.
He катайтесь на велосипедах вдоль дорог, заполненных машинами.
Avoid dropping litter in the sea.
He бросайте мусор в море.
Примерный ответ:
Avoid leaving the fire burning. Avoid making fire too close to trees. Avoid
throwing rubbish away.
Avoid riding a bicycle in a rush hour. Avoid crossing the street on the red light.
Avoid high speed.
Avoid dangerous places. Avoid throwing litter away. Avoid spending too much
money.

- Let's see what else we can do to save the Earth. Read the text in ex. 53, p. 54 and
give a title to it.
1) Работа с учебником. Чтение учащихся текста упражнения 53 на странице
54, в котором они находят много советов по предотвращению экологической
катастрофы.
2) Работа с текстом и речевыми опорами, направленная на создание
совместного проекта. Выбор наиболее важных советов для спасения нашей
планеты. Групповая работа (активный метод модерации: техника решения
проблем и поиск оптимальных решений)

-Read what you can do to save the Earth alive. Do you already do it? What exactly
do you do?
-Read the task to ex. 54, p. 54. Do you understand it? Then work in pairs and put
the sentences in a proper place.
-And now listen to the whole text and check your answers. Read the whole text.

P3: We can draw poster to express our protest against awful destruction of the
environment.
P4: and our group wants to be the young helpers of Greenpeace organization.
7. Создание проекта.
-Then let’s make golden ecological rules to follow them. Now you will work in
groups and make two projects. The groups will present the rules on keeping our
environment clean. The first group will start their rules with the words “We must”,
the second group will present their rules starting with the words “We mustn’t”.
( Students are making their projects, then the representatives of the groups will
explain the ideas of their projects to the class.)
Students of the first group:
We must keep the country tidy.
We must respect the life and work of the country-side.
We must keep the dogs under control.
We must take litter home.
We must water flowers and trees.
We must grow flowers and trees.
When we hike, we must leave the place clean.
Students of the second group speak:
We mustn’t break trees.
We mustn’t pick flowers in the forest or in the field.
We mustn’t do any harm to our “lesser brothers”- animals.
We mustn’t catch birds.
We mustn’t throw waste paper and things into rivers, lakes or on the ground.
We can reduce energy and water, we can reuse glass bottles and plastic containers,
we can recycle newspapers, cardboard, cans and tins, paper, plastic containers and
glass bottles.
8. Рефлексия.
-Have you learnt any new facts at the lesson? What new words have you
memorized? What do you do to save the Earth?
-You decorated your planets. Let’s show each other! And what did you do for it
during the lesson? You are good gardeners! I think we can save our planet!
- Children, put down the stars: It was interesting – красная звезда, I have some
questions –жёлтая, It was boring – синяя. (Учитель просит учащихся дать
оценку уроку, подняв сигнальные карточки).
9. Домашнее задание
-You hometask:
SB: ex. 21, p. 57; AB: ex-s. 1, 2 , p. 34 (Уч.: упр. 21, стр. 57; РТ: упр. 1, 2, стр.
34).
-Write an essay. Choose one of the topics.
“What environmental problems are there in our village?”
“How can you help our village to become cleaner?”
10. Подведение итогов.
- Let everybody remember we have only one Earth. And it is our challenger to
keep it clean and healthy for future generations. The Earth is our home.
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California to New York Irelands.
From the Red Wood forests to the farthest bodies.
This land was made for you and me.
Today we have a talk about nature. We can help the Earth. We love the Earth.
Our lesson is over. Good bye, my friends.
