Открытый урок английского языка и обществознания по теме:
« Музыка в нашей жизни. Звуки музыки». (Sounds of music) 11 класс А.

Цель урока:
- обобщить знания учащихся по теме: « Культура. Музыка в нашей жизни»;
- развить интеллектуальные и познавательные способности учащихся;
- воспитывать уважение к культуре разных стран.
Тип урока: комбинированный.
Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, карточки с заданиями и
основными понятиями, тесты, портреты певцов и композиторов.
Ретро — выставка старинных пластинок и плакатов с изображением
музыкальных групп и композиторов различных исторических периодов.
Ход урока.
1. Оргмомент
T: Good morning, dear students and guests. I am glad to see you at our lesson. I
hope we will have a good time and you will enjoy our lesson, because the topic of
our talking is something, that makes our life more brighter and interesting.
Мотивация: исполнение русской народной песни учащимися в костюмах.
1. Определите к какой области относится песня? ( К культуре)
2. Что такое культура?
3. Какие виды культуры вам известны?
Сообщения учащихся о различных видах культуры.
Творческое задание. Определить по портретам певцов и композиторов к
каким видам культуры относится их творчество. Для какой цели мы изучаем
эту тему?
Звучит музыкальное произведение. Какие ассоциации у вас возникли?
( Ответы учащихся).
Yes, you are right. Today we shall speak about music.It is very interesting topic.
But first of all I want you to divide into 4 groups.
Different people like different music. And what about you? What kind of music do
you know? What music do you like?
Today we shall speak about different styles of music. On the screen you can see a
charming quotation

T- Try to translate this quotation into English.
P1- Music is a free art, an open-air art, an art boundless as the wind, the sky, the
sea. ( Debussy).
T- Do you agree with this quotation? ( P1, P2, P3 )
T- But what role does music play in your life?
( Music helps us to live and learn).
T- What does music reflect?
( It reflects our mood, our state of soul, our style of life).
T- Where do we hear music?
( We hear music everywhere on TV, in the streets, over the radio, in the parks, in
the shops, in the cars, at homes, in transport…)
T- What do you feel when you listen to music?
( - When I listen to music I forget about everything).
(- I want to sing and dance).
(- It makes me to think of happy and dark days)/
(- I dream about my future life)/
( - I see green forests, high mountains, deep sees and rivers).
T- And I fully agree with you. When I listen to music I forget about problems and
think about nothing but music.

Specialists explain that music is not only a combination of pleasant sounds. It is an
art, which reflects life. There are a lot of different kinds of music. Some of them
appeared long ago, and some are modern. And what music styles do you know?

T- There are different kinds of music, but tastes differ, you know.
I want to know what music styles you prefer. Now it is high time to listen your
projects. Please, group number 1 ( Pop music). P1, P2

T- Thank you very much for your interesting information. As you see music may
be different. Read some brief information and try to guess what type of music it is.

материала по теме « Культура».
T- You know the role of music in our life is great. Music is one of the greatest
wonders of the world. It gives us the unique opportunity to listen to the wonderful
combination of sounds enjoying the text and singers’ talents. Different people
enjoy different kinds of music: classical, pop-music, jazz, chamber music,
symphonic, instrumental etc. Some people are great fans of pop-groups.
Our life is colourless and boring without music. Music has a great power to heal.
It helps to cope with your problems or encourages to work, to study, and to love...
Учащиеся получают задание составить синквейн по теме урока.
T- So my dear friends, today you have had a good opportunity to express your
attitude to music. You were creative at the lesson. I liked your projects and I am
going to put you good and excellent marks. We can speak and tell much else but it
is time to finish. And your task for the next lesson to prepare a presentation
devoted to one of a composer, a conducter, a singer, a dance and ets.
