Цель урока - формирование лексических навыков по теме «Опасность, непредвиденный
случай» в монологической и диалогической речи
Задачи урока:
Обучающая:
- развитие навыков детального понимания текста, обобщение и систематизация умений и
навыков на основе монологических и диалогических высказываний по тексту
Развивающая:
- развитие языковой и речевой компетентности, критического мышления, умения
высказывать свою точку зрения, личное отношение к поставленной проблеме, умения
аргументировать, анализировать и обобщать свое высказывание
Воспитательная:
- воспитание понимания ценности человеческой жизни.
Планируемые результаты : расширение общего лингвистического кругозора, владение
навыками смыслового чтения текста в соответствии с целями и задачами; осознанно

Содержание урока
1.Greeting. Hello, students. I am glad to see you safe and sound.
2. Warm up.
Look at the pictures and say
What ideas do you have in mind?
How can you characterize these people?
What is the most important thing when you climb mountains?
Listen to the music. How do you feel? (ex.1 p.64)
What is the topic of our lesson? (Ученики формулируют тему урока)
3. Look through the text and find(p.64):
1) The names of the characters
2) When does the story take place?
3) The name of the mountain.
4) Adjectives, which describe the main characters.

4. Read the text onсe again. Discuss in groups unknown words, find them in the dictionaries.
5. Match new words with their definitions:

8. Will you act out the radio interview with these two adventurous mountaineers.
Joe: Simon lowered me down but suddenly I struck my elbow against something solid. It was a
vertical icy wall. I made an attempt to thrust the ice-axe into the icy rock but I didn’t manage to
do it. I realized that I was hanging hundred meters above the ground. I shouted so that Simon
would stop lowering the rope down.
I realized that the only way out of this situation was to climb the rope up. Unfortunately it was
impossible because my fingers were frostbitten. I knew it was the end.
Simon: I didn’t get the signal from Joe. The whole situation was unclear. I didn’t know what to
do. I got numb with cold. I tried to hold the rope tightly but I felt that I was being drawn to the
edge of the cliff. Sooner or later I would be pulled down to the abyss. Then I took off my
rucksack, reached for the knife and cut the road.
Joe: I flew 50 metres down and fell on a flat slope. I didn’t believe in miracles but that time I
survived.
Simon: I got to the camp where our common friend was waiting for us. I was completely sure
that we had lost Joe. Four days passed. And then, one night we woke up because we heard the
voice. It was Joe’s voice. We went in the direction of this voice. It was incredible. Simon was
terrible injured but alive.
