Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку
“ A Language Marathon”
Цель: стимулирование интереса учащихся к изучению предмета.
Задачи:
Образовательная: расширять культурный кругозор учащихся;
Развивающая: развивать мышление, память;
Практическая: практиковать учащихся в чтении, аудировании, говорении;
Воспитательная: воспитывать толерантное отношение к сверстникам, умение работать в
группе.
План мероприятия:
Знакомство команд.
Игра по станциям.
Подведение итогов мероприятия
Ход мероприятия
1. Организационный момент.
Здравствуйте. Сегодня мы проведем «Языковой марафон». Вам надо разделиться на 4
группы по 5 человек. Наш марафон будет состоять из 8 станций. На каждой станции будет
свое задание. После каждого задания вас будет оценивать наше жюри. И по итогам их
оценок выявится победитель.
Хочу представить вам членов жюри.
2. Итак, приступим.
1 станция – Страноведческая. Здесь мы проверим ваши знания о странах изучаемого
нами языка.
У вас лежат листы с вопросами. Ваша задача ответить на эти вопросы за 5 минут.

Я раздаю вам одну и ту же скороговорку. Вы выбираете 1 человека от команды. Жюри на
секундомере засекает время. Высший балл – 4. Соответственно, быстрее всех
прочитавший получает 4 балла, медленнее – 1 балл.

Максимальное количество баллов – 8.

Задача – составить слова из букв. Одно правильное слово – 1 балл.
