«Новый день благодарения»
(УМК Enjoy English под ред. М.З. Биболетовой)

Тема :“ Новый день благодарения.”
Цель: Формирование у учащихся культуры бережного отношения к
окружающей среде через средства английского языка
Задачи:
1. Формировать экологическую грамотность, чувство любви к природе,
ответственность за её сохранение
2. Формировать навыки совместной продуктивной деятельности,
сотрудничества, взаимопомощи
3. Способствовать развитию критического мышления
4. Учить оценивать общий результат и общие достижения
Введение в тему урока: Создание проблемной ситуации, актуализация уже
имеющегося личного опыта у учеников
1. Can we thank our Earth? What for?
Предполагаемые ответы: For fresh air, for beautiful forests, for white snow,
for our life…(work in groups)
2. Reciting the poem “Yours and mine”, представление постера с
изображением Земли в радостном настроении.
Yours and mine
The sun, the trees, the grass, the sky,
The silver moon that’s sailing by,
The rain and dew and snowflakes white.
The flowers sweet and stars of night’
The songs of birds, wind whispering
The autumn leaves, the buds of spring.
Such lovely things to hear and see
Belong to you, belong to me!
3. But can our planet thank us?
No. Why? So, what do you think about it?
People throw trash into the water, the rivers are seriously ill, woods are very
dirty…(work in groups)
4. Reciting the poem ‘The earth is in danger”, представление постера с

The Earth is in danger
The fish in the sea are dying
From the pollution we create
We’ve got to stop polluting
Before its too late.
In the woods and forests
They’re cutting down the trees
We’ve got to save the forests
Everyone agrees.
The hole in the ozone layer
Is getting bigger every day
We’ve got to stop air pollution
We hare to find a way.
Our planet is in trouble
It gets worse every day
We have to help our planet
In every possible way.
4. Включение в систему знаний, построение краткого логического
высказывания: Work with texts. For example:
A very serious problem is water pollution. Many rivers are dirty now. On the
banks of the river there is a lot of litter. People leave bottles, paper, food after
their resting. They throw them into the water and it’s dangerous to swim there.
It’s necessary to clean our lakes and rivers. The countryside has changed
greatly. Animals have disappeared. Cars are the world’s biggest air polluters.
They add their bad breath to the air. (Pupils discuss these problems and express
their opinions.)
5. The Earth is crying, but it can’t say anything. Imagine that you are a fish. What
would you say? For example: If I were a fish I would “Don’t throw litter in the
river”.
6. Систематизация и обобщение знаний: So we must work out some rules of
our behaviour. Работа в группах.

8. So we are to make up some slogans and read them and repeat them and follow
them every day.
1. “To hurt the Earth is to hurt yourself”
2. “The Earth is a wonderful place to live”
3. “Remember to keep our green home clean”
4. “Be clean, be green”
5. “Our planet is our home”
9. Подведение итогов: В мире существует уже много знаменательных дат,
связанных с борьбой за чистоту и покой нашей планеты:
22 апреля – День Земли
16 сентября – Международный день защиты озонового слоя
5 июня – всемирный день окружающей среды
31 мая – Международный день борьбы с курением
20 октября – День отказа от курения
Сегодня мы придумали и создали новый праздник – День Благодарения
Земли.
10. Рефлексия "Благодарю…" В конце урока учитель предлагает каждому
ученику выбрать только одного из ребят, кому хочется сказать спасибо за
сотрудничество и пояснить, в чем именно это сотрудничество проявилось.
Благодарственное слово педагога является завершающим. При этом он
выбирает тех, кому досталось наименьшее количество комплиментов,
стараясь найти убедительные слова признательности и этому участнику
событий.
