Тема урока: Spooky stories. What are you afraid of?
Цели урока:
-образовательная – знакомство детей с новыми словами, повторение
склонение глагола to be.
-развивающая – развитие навыков аудирования, говорения, письма и
чтения; развитие мышлений;
-воспитывающая – умение детей правильно использовать в речи новые
слова, развитие интереса в изучении английского языка.
Оборудование: презентация, раздаточный и дидактический материал,
аудиокассета.
Ход урока.
1.Организационный момент.
Teacher: Good afternoon, children!
Pupils: Good afternoon, teacher!
Teacher: Sit down, please.
2. Основная часть.
1) -Today we will talk about spooky stories. And also will meet with
some new words which sometimes scare us.
(Сегодня мы с вами будем говорить о страшных историях и
познакомимся с героями, которые иногда нас пугают. Также научимся
правильно использовать слова, обозначающие этих героев в нашей
речи.)
2) -There is anywhere a magic place. And there is a magic castle in this
place. Today we are going to walk to this castle.
(Где-то далеко-далеко есть заколдованное место. Там стоит
заколдованный замок. Сейчас мы с вами отправимся туда. Здесь живут
герои, которые иногда пугают людей. Мы сейчас зайдём в этот замок и
пусть каждый проверит себя)
3) -And now we will make a test which call “Are you a scaredy-cat?”
(Сейчас мы с вами проведём тест, который называется “Are you a
scaredy-cat?”, в переводе обозначает «Вы трусишка?» scaredy-cat –
это трусишка. А у нас говорят зайчишка-трусишка.)
- All of you have a paper with a table. You must give 1 point for
things from the table which you are afraid of.
- Do you understand me?
( Кто не боится встретившегося героя пусть ставит 0 очко, а кто
боится ставит 1 очко).
- Let’s begin!
The first question is “Are you afraid of ghosts?”
- Are you afraid of snakes?
- The third question is “Are you afraid of cockroaches?”
- The next question is “Are you afraid of witches?”
- Are you afraid of spiders?
- The sixth question is “Are you afraid of black cats?”
- The seventh question is “Are you afraid of injections?”
- The next question is “Are you afraid of vampires?”
- Are you afraid of tests?
- The tenth question is “Are you afraid of mice?”
- Are you afraid of skeletons?
- And the last question is “Are you afraid of the dark?”
- And now we will score our answer and then will read what our score
means.
- Who has with 8 to 12 point?
Read, please, what your score means.
8-12: You are a scaredy-cat! Watch out!
It’s not good for your nerves.
- Who has with 4 to 7 point?
Read, please, what your score means.
4-7: You are not a scaredy-cat but very careful.
- Who has with 0 to 3 point?
Read, please, what your score means.
0-3: You are as brave as astronaut.
- You are very brave!
4) - And now repeat these words after me (Повторяйте за мной эти слова):
witch - ведьма
injection - укол
vampire - вампир
the dark - темнота
to scare - пугать
to be afraid of - бояться

5) - Let’s write these words on your exercise book.

6) - It is great that you are not afraid of these spooky things. Let’s
remember what spooky things we meet in castle. Now we must
match these words with picture on the blackboard.
