Урок – игра в 6 классе по английскому языку «Discovering Britain»
( урок-обобщение по теме «Великобритания» к УМК Афанасьева О.В., Михеева И.В. «Английский
язык. VI класс для школ с углублённым изучением английского языка», 2011г.)
Цели урока:
Обобщение и систематизация полученных знаний;
Развивать у обучающихся навыки монологической речи.
Задачи урока:
Воспитательные:
• Поддерживать высокий уровень мотивации в изучении английского языка.
• Учить давать объективную оценку деятельности своих одноклассников.
Развивающие:
• Развитие памяти и мышления.
• Развитие умений, навыков участия в групповом общении.
Общеобразовательные:
• Расширение общего и филологического кругозора.
• Развитие познавательного интереса учащихся.
Тип урока:
По содержанию: урок-обобщение (урок применения полученных знаний).
По форме: урок-игра (соревнование команд).
Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, экран, мультимедиа-презентация (подготовлена учителем)
Ход урока:
I. Организационный момент.
1. Приветствие.
T.: Good morning, students.
P.: Good morning, teacher.
T.: I am glad to see you at our lesson.
II. Основная часть урока.
1. Постановка целей и задач урока.
The theme of our unusual lesson is «Discovering Britain». You will have a chance to
demonstrate your deep knowledge about this country. Once again we are going to speak
about its geographical position, its people and politics, about famous British people and
about the history of the country. (Slide 1)
We have a game today. That’s why you should divide into 2 teams and choose the leader of
your teams.
Now listen to the rules of our game:
We choose which team will be the first. Then this team will choose a certain category, you’ll
listen to the question, you’ll have one minute to think and discuss. After the discussion your
leader will give the answer. If one command doesn’t know the answer, the second command
will give it to us without any time of discussion. Then the second team will choose the
category. At the end of our game we’ll count the points of each team and announce the
winner. You have such categories as: English culture, English politics, English vocabulary,
Famous British, English holidays, The sights of Britain. (Slide 2)
