Урок обобщения и систематизации знаний по теме "Эдинбург-
столица Шотландии"
Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний по теме "Шотландия"
Цель – способствовать формированию коммуникативной компетенции на
основе изученного материала с использованием ИКТ.
Данный урок является логическим продолжением систематической
совместной работы учащихся и учителя по изучению культуры и традиций
Шотландии. Урок гармонично связан со всеми предыдущими и готовит
учащихся к последующим урокам в разделе страноведение.
Задачи:
Образовательная - способствовать формированию коммуникативной
компетенции на основе изученного.
Развивающая –развить способность к анализу и обобщению изученного
материала.
Воспитательная - способствовать воспитанию личности, интересующуюся
культурой других стран, воспитать в учениках готовность к общению на
иностранном языке, работать индивидуально, помогать друг другу, умение
слушать внимательно.
Оборудование – доска, раздаточный материал, компьютер -
мультимедийная техника, бейджи, карточки с заданиями, an English Video.
Начало урока:
-Good-afternoon, girls and boys. Let’s greet our guests. Sit down, please. My name

T:-Recently I’ve returned from Scotland. It’s a beautiful country.
-What is the capital of this country? (Edinburgh)

Loch Ness is the home of probably the world’s most famous monster. The
main question is — is it a fact or fiction?
One of the most famous photos of the Loch Ness Monster is the Surgeon’s
Photo. He says that he can take the photo of head and body of a creature. The man
who took this picture later said that he attached an artificial head to a toy
submarine.
Some scientists believe that some of the sightings of the Loch Ness Monster
was due to the wind causing a disturbance in the water.
Some believe the Loch Ness monster to be an elephant. This is thought
because the head of the elephant might look like a body and the trunk out of the
water might look like a head.
There are some reports about seeing great black humps on the surface of the
lake and then their disappearing.
But a film was made in 1961 to show an object twenty-eight meters long.
Some believe the beast to exist, some do not. However, it’s a legend that
attracts a lot of tourists.
