Tема: London and its sights.
Цели:
1. Систематизировать знания учащихся по теме «Лондон».
2. Активизация фонетических навыков и навыков аудирования.
3. Совершенствование навыков диалогической речи.
4. Активизация грамматических навыков.
5. Воспитание уважения к стране изучаемого языка.
Оборудование: картинки и фотографии по теме «Лондон»,
транскрипционные значки, карточки с грамматическим заданием.
Ходурока
I. Организационный момент.
- Good morning, dear friends. I`m glad to see you.
- Today we shall speak about London and its sights.
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
- At first let’s remember the sounds. Repeat after me.

- Name your variants, please.
III. Речевая зарядка.
- Now we shall play the game “Correct my mistakes”. You will listen to my
statements. You should agree or disagree with me.
1. You don’t like our town.
2. You live in Kirov Street.
3. There is one school in our town.
4. Our town is the capital of GB.
5. You have got two sisters.
6. You play football well. Etc.
IV. Тренировка лексических и аудитивных навыков.
- 1) And now let’s repeat the words. Repeat after me, please.
Building, capital, tower, tourist, square, blood, palace, museum, guide, information.
- The next task for you is to make up the words using these cards. Work in pairs.
(дети составляют слова из карточек на партах).
- 2) Do you like to play board games? Let’s play the game “Loto”. You can see the
cards with Russian words on your desks. Now I shall say these words in English.
You task is to find their Russian equivalents and close them using these stars. Is it
clear?
-What words didn’t I say?
- 3) Look at the blackboard, please. Here you can see the pictures of sights of
London. What sight is it? Can you name them? Let’s name them.
- And now your task is to listen to my stories, choose the picture and name the sight.
Listen to me very attentively. If you have the answer put up your hand.
1. It is a symbol of England. It was built by King Edward in 1065.
The coronation of all Kings and Queens takes place there.
(Westminster Abbey).
2. It is the official residence of the Royal family. (Buckingham
Palace).
3. This museum is famous for its library and reading halls. (British
Museum).
4. It was a fortress, a palace, a prison and a royal treasure. Now it is a
museum. (The Tower of London).
5. It weighs 13720 kilograms. It was named after Sir Benjamin Hall.
(Big Ben).
6. It is next to the Tower of London. It is one of the famous bridges
across the Thames. (Tower Bridge).

V. Проверка домашнего задания.
- Itstimeto check up your homework. You have prepared the map of your town or
village. Who is ready to start? (дети по составленным дома картам рассказывают
о своем городе или о своей деревне).
VI. Активизация грамматических навыков.
- Look at the cards on your desks. You can see the sentences on the cards. Complete
the sentences with one of the variants.
VII. Итогиурока.
-Our lesson is over. Thank you for your work. Your marks today…
VIII. Домашнее задание.
- Your homework will be to learn the words on page 76 for dictation.
