Тема: «Путешествие»
Оснащение урока: диск с записью диалога The lost bag”, DVD-плеер, карточки с
дополнительным материалом по теме урока, индивидуальные карточки с кроссвордами,
классная доска.
Цель урока: развитие восприятия англоязычной речи на слух, развитие основных видов
речевой деятельности, формирование навыков общения, повышение мотивации и
интереса к изучению языка.
Задачи урока:
- ввод и отработка нового лексического материала по теме "Путешествие";
- совершенствовать навыки восприятия иноязычного текста на слух (аудирование
диалога “The lost bag”);
- совершенствование навыков монологической и диалогической речи, а также
навыков письма по теме “Путешествие”.
Место уроков в цикле – урок продолжает тему “Путешествие”.
Хода урока
I. Организационный момент. Речевая зарядка.
Hello! Our today’s topic is travelling. People all over the world travel a lot. They can travel by
bus, by plane, by car and on board the ship. So think and answer
- What is the quickest method of traveling?
- Is it comfortable to travel by plane?
Now let’s answer some questions by chain
- Do you like to travel?
- Do you take a lot of luggage when you travel?
- Have you ever lost your luggage?
II. Ввод и отработка в речи новых лексических единиц.
And now look at the blackboard. Here are some new words for you to remember. Repeat after
me and try to remember them.
Case, rucksack, hand luggage, trolley, canvas, wheel, flight, size, shape, medium-sized, by
mistake.
So take your pencils and choose the right answer. Well, please read and translate the sentences.

And now we are going to watch the film. This film is about the lost bag at the airport. Let’s
start watching it. After that we’ll try to answer the questions.
1. What colour is Michael’s bag – dark blue or light blue?
2. Has Michael got a rucksack?
3. His case has got wheels, hasn’t it?
4. Where is Michael from?

Let’s answer the questions. The first one….
I shall read you some sentences about this dialogue. If the sentence is true than raise your hand,
if it’s false – don’t raise your hand.
- Michael looks happy.
- Michael has got a green canvas case.
- Michael has got a small rucksack.
- His case has got wheels.
- Michael is from Russia.
- His flight is at 10.25
- Michael has only clothes in this case.
Now take your pens and open your exercise-books. Please write sentences using the words from
the blackboard.
- It’s a blue canvas case.
- Now what flight were you on?
- I have got a small rucksack but it is a hand luggage.
- Oh, I must have picked it up by mistake.
- It is in the trolley.
- It has got wheels.
- Size? Shape? Colour?
Now let’s watch the dialogue once again and put the sentences in the right order.

TOUR GUIDE: You look worried, Michael. What’s the matter?
MICHAEL: I can’t see my bag anywhere.
TOUR GUIDE: Oh, well, what does it look like?
MICHAEL: It’s a blue case.
TOUR GUIDE: What sort of blue_ dark blue, light blue?
MICHAEL: Dark blue.
TOUR GUIDE: Well, is it like any of these?
MICHALE: Yes, it’s blue like that.
TOUR GUIDE: I thought you had a rucksack.
MICHAEL: I’ve got a small one-but it’s hand luggage. It’s in the trolley.
TOUR GUIDE: So what kind of case is it?
MICHAEL: It’s canvas.
TOUR GUIDE: How big is it? Like that one?
MICHALE: No, smaller than that.
TOUR GUIDE: Is that it?
MICHAEL: No, mine just like that, but it’s got wheels.
TOUR GUIDE: Well, there are no more bags coming through…..
AIRPORT OFFICIAL: May I help you?
MICHAEL: Yes. My bag’s gone missing.
AIRPORT OFFICIAL: Hold on. Don’t worry. Now what flight were you on?
MICHAEL: The one from Paris.
AIRPORT OFFICIAL: Ah, but which one from Paris? When was it due in?
TOUR GUIDE: It was the 10.25 Flight number UK 4582.
AIRPORT OFFICIAL: Right. I’ll need a few details from you if you don’t mind.
Can you tell me what was in the bag?
MICHAEL: Just clothes. Why do you have to know that?
AIRPORT OFFICIAL: We need all the details you can give us in order to trace the
bag. Now, let’s start with a description. Size? Shape? Colour?
MICHAEL: It’s a medium-sized, dark blue, canvas case……
GIRL: Like this one?
MICHAEL: That’s the one! Where did you find it?
GIRL: Oh, I must have picked it up by mistake. I’m sorry. You haven’t
seen like it, have you? Without wheels?
