THE FUNNY ZOO
Интеллектуально-развлекательная игра для учащихся 4 классов
Задачи:
Образовательная: расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся.
Развивающие: развитие коммуникативных навыков учащихся; развитие творческих способностей;
развитие и поддержание интереса к изучению английского языка.
Воспитательные: воспитание умения работать в команде и уважительно относиться друг к другу;
воспитание бережного отношения к природе и животным.
Оборудование: зал можно украсть картинками с изображением разных животных, воздушными
шариками. Для мероприятия необходимо подготовить фонограммы песен и музыкальной заставки,
эмблемы или бейджики с картинками животных («Травоядные»: слон, обезьяна, утенок, кенгуру,
заяц, панда и «Плотоядные»: собака, тигр, пантера, медведь, кошка, крокодил; рисунки травоядных
животных наклеены на бейджики зеленого цвета плотоядных - красного); 2 набора фломастеров и
цветных карандашей; 2 листа ватмана, прикрепленного к доске для творческого конкурса; картонный
ящик черного цвета с крышкой; 2 мягких игрушки- животных; по 5 бананов и косточек из цветного
картона; призы.

Show-host 1:

Show-host 1: Let’s form two teams ‘"Herbivore” (Травоядные) и “Carnivore” (Плотоядные). There are
some cards in this box. Take a card and the team you’ll play.
(Участники игры выбирают карточки, па которых нарисованы травоядные животные (слон,
обезьяна, утенок, кенгуру, заяц, панда) и плотоядные (собака, тигр, пантера, медведь, кошка,
крокодил); так формируются команды. Участники команд прикалывают эти знаки себе на
одежду.)
Show-host 2: So, now we have two teams “Herbivore” and “Carnivore”. Our first contest is to represent the
team. Please, say some words about the animals in your team. You can sing a song, too. The team
“Herbivore”, are you ready?
(Члены этой команды представляют свою команду. Каждый участник команды, читающий
стихотворение, должен его инсценировать.)
Kitten:
I'm a little kitty.
I love to tippy toe.
Won't you do it with me? Ready now, let's go.
Dog:
I'm a little dog.
Who loves to run and run,
If you would do it with me,
We could have such fun.
Bear:
If I were a bear,
And a big bear too,
I shouldn’t much care If it froze or snew:

Crocodile:
I am an alligator Sitting on a log.
Down in the pool I see a little frog.

Panther:

And I enjoy my hunting When nights are dark and long.
Tiger:

первого конкурса. Если победит «Травоядные», то они получают очко - банан, сделанный из
картона; если «Плотоядные» - то косточку.)
Show-host 1: It’s time to start the second contest. You should guess some riddles about animals. Listen to
them and put down your answers on these pieces of paper.

about him. Give him a name. Tell what he eats and drinks, where he lives, what he can do. Here are your
pencils. Please draw your fantastic animals on these sheets of paper. You have five minutes to do this task.
(Участники команд приступают к выполнению задания. На листах ватмана, укрепленных на доске,
они рисуют фантастическое животное.)
Show-host 2: Well, time is out. The team “Camivore’'will start.
(«Травоядные» представляют свое животное и рассказывают о нем.)

Show-host 1: The next contest is called ‘‘The black box”. There is a toy-animal in this box. You should
guess what it is. You may ask me questions to get “Yes- or No-answers”. The team that can guess this
animal quicker is the winner. Your questions may be “Is it big?” “Does it live in the forest?” “Does it eat
grass?” or “Can it swim?” So, “Herbivore”, it is your turn to start.

Show-host 2: And now we have the last contest. You now that animals are cunning and clever. Let’s tiy to
learn who is more cunning the team“Camivore” or “Herbivore”. We will play the game “Where is The
Wolf? It is a Canadian folk game, and children like to play it very much. Listen to the rules. This is Wolf, he
is sleeping. The children sing the song and go around him. When they sing “He’s here!” children should run
away and the Wolf should catch somebody and take with him to the round.
(Дети водят хоровод вокруг Волка, который притворяется спящим, потом он просыпается и
выполняет действия, о которых поется в песне. Когда в конце песни Волк кричит “He’s here!”, дети
разбегаются. Тот кого Волк поймает, встает в круг, и песню поют снова).
