Цели урока:
Воспитательные - развитие ответственного и бережного отношения к природе;
- воспитание любви к животным;
- создание положительной мотивации к изучению английского
языка.
Учебные - совершенствование лексических и грамматических навыков;
- развитие монологической речи;
- развитие навыков аудирования .
Развивающие - развитие мышления;
- развитие объема памяти;
- развитие антиципации;
- развитие способности к логическому изложению содержания;
- формирование познавательного интереса.
Планируемые результаты по развитию УУД:
личностные: расширение познавательных потребностей, развитие бережного отношения к
природе, воспитание любви к животным, формирование интереса к английскому языку;
метапредметные: развитие способности к слуховой и зрительной дифференциации; развитие
способности к логическому изложению содержания, развитие мышления, объёма памяти и
способности к догадке;
предметные: совершенствование лексических и грамматических навыков; развитие
монологической речи и навыков аудирования.
Тип урока: комбинированный.
Оснащение урока: компьютер, проектор, раздаточный материал, компьютерные иллюстрации
к уроку.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент.
Good morning, boys and girls. I am glad to see you. How are you? I hope you are feeling well
today. Be ready for our lesson. My best wishes to you. Let’s start our lesson.
What season is it? (It is winter.) What’s the weather like today? (The weather is cloudy, cold and
snowy.) So the weather is too cold for animals and it is necessary to help them to survive. The topic of
our lesson is “People and animals in the country and in the city”.

1. Совершенствование грамматических навыков.
1) Let’s divide these animals into two groups.

a duck a monkey

an eagle
How can we call the first and the second group of animals?
Answers: domestic (farm) animals and wild animals.

2) Let’s compare the animals of the first group and the second one. But first remember the degrees
of comparison.

Compare the animals. You should use the following words: useful, beautiful, smart, funny, big,
strong, small, long, tall.
Example: An elephant is bigger than a wolf.
A giraffe is longer than a bear.
A tiger is stronger than a rabbit.
A monkey is funnier than a sheep.
A dog is smarter than a pig.
A cow is more useful than a fox.
A snake is longer than a duck.
An eagle is more beautiful than a hen.

2. Совершенствование лексических навыков.
And now let’s speak about the animals.
You should think and name animals that live only in hot countries.
Think and name animals that eat only grass, vegetables and fruit.
Think and name animals that eat meat and fish.
Let’s help the wild animals to find their homes.
The students should use the words: - in the desert;
- in the river (ocean, sea);
- in the mountains;
- in the forest.
Example: The eagle lives in the mountains.
And where do the domestic (farm) animals live?
The students should use the words: - on a farm;
- in the house.

Many people have pets. It’s interesting and funny to have a pet at home.
Listen and talk about the pet that Dima would like to have. (2 times)

1. Work in pairs. Ask your classmate to talk about his / her pet. Ask questions to get more
information.

2. People and animals always do something for each other.
a) Say what animals do for people?
P1 Camels can carry things for people.
P2 Dogs can help and save people.
P3 Sheep can give clothes and food.
b) Say what people do for animals?
P1 People can make a house for birds.
P2 People can feed hens and wash horses.
P3 People can take a dog for a walk.
c) Look at the pictures and say which animal is the most useful? Why?
P1 I think sheep are the most useful animals because they can give food for people.
P2 I think camels are the most useful animals because they can carry alloy of things for people.
So we must always take care of the animals.
