- Наречия, образованные от прилагательных при помощи суффикса -ly, образуют сравнительную степень при помощи слова more, а превосходную – при помощи слова most:

- Следующие наречия, как и соответствующие им прилагательные, образуют степени сравнения не по правилу:
- Наречия места и времени (here, there и др.; tоday, tomorrow, yesterday и др.) степеней сравнения не имеют.
- Место наречия в предложении
- Every month we go to the theatre (в начале предложения).
- I often play football (в середине предложения).
- He is really a good football player (после to be).
- She plays the piano very well (в конце предложения).
- Who goes to the cinema? – Peter often does (краткий ответ).
