1.Активизировать лексические навыки по теме «Профессии», «Черты характера».
2. Совершенствовать грамматические конструкции: формы будущего времени,
оборота to be going to… о будущей профессии.
3. Совершенствовать навыки аудирования и говорения.
Форма урока: игра- путешествие
I. Орг.момент.
- Good morning children. How are you?
Do you know who am I?
- And what am I?
- You are a teacher/
- You are a teacher of English.
- Am I a doctor? (a pilot, a fireman)
- No, you are not a….
I am an actress!!! I think every teacher is an actor and you pupils our spectators.
II. Фон.зарядка
- Time is so fast. Soon you will be elder and you must to think about your future profession.
There are a lot of professions. Let’s recall some of them.
- And what other professions do you know?
- By the way, children, what professions are there in our gymnasium?

- Thank you. How capable and clever you are!
III. Речевая разминка.
- You know many professions but it is interesting for me do you know your parents’
- My mother works in an office. She is an office worker.
- My father is a driver. He likes his job very much.
- My mother is a nurse. She helps people.
- I am glad that you know the professions of your parents. You are only in the 5
form but
some of you may be have chosen the future professions or dream about interesting jobs.
What is your dream,….?
What about you,….?
…. I think you will be an artist.
- Yes, I want to be an artist/ No, It’s only my hobby.
- Thank you, your dreams are wonderful. Let them be true.
IV. Активизация лексических навыков.
- Children, I want to help you today. We shall travel to the world of professions.We shall
travel in a magic Engine. It will help you but to make our Engine run we should read this
poem about it.

- Wonderful! Are you ready? Then let’s start.

3. Our third station is called Mixed sentences.

He flies planes a pilot
He works in a hotel a receptionist

V. Физминутка.
- There is our fourth station. But our magic Engine wants to have a rest.

I see you are very musical and like to sing.
VI. Совершенствование навыков аудирования и говорения.
Now let’s go on. Our next station is called “Riddles” Listen and guess, what are these people?

VII. Развитие творческих способностей.
- During our lessons we learnt a poem about professions. And I offer you to say about your
future profession in a poem. At first let’s read it.
- Now try to write your own poem and say what you want to be.
VIII. Совершенствование навыков поискового чтения.
- It was very interesting. Thank you very much. But my dears, today the postman brought me
a letter. Do you want to know what is it about? The letter is about some interesting
professions. I offer you to read it and to guess what are they. And I’ll know who is the
fastest and the best in your class. After reading, please do the task to this

IX. Итоги. Домашнее задание.
- Our last station is called “the station of advertisement”. It will be your homework. At home
please make a project of advertisement on a shit of paper.

A. My parents have a large library and they taught me to like books. I like reading books. I have
a dream. I want to have my favourite books in the original and to know the languages they are
written in. I also like reading books about other countries (страны) and cultures (культура). It is
an interesting profession because a person of this profession meets people from different
countries and cultures all the time and has an opportunity to learn much about them. Besides, this
profession is very useful because it helps people to understand each other.
B. When I was a little boy my grandfather worked at a hospital and I spent some time at the
hospital with him. I like this profession and I want to work at a hospital. It is a good tradition in
our family. He is a surgeon and works in a surgical department. Day by day he takes care of his
hospital patients. He is very attentive. He wants all people to be healthy.
C. I think this is an interesting and useful profession. I like to watch TV, listen to the radio, read
newspapers and magazines. My friends and I are рublishing (издавать) a small newspaper once
a month (раз в месяц) in our school. We write articles about school events, life of young people,
jokes, draw pictures. My favourite school subjects are history and literature. I think men of this
profession meet many people. They try to understand what is going on in the world and try to
explain it to other people. I think that this profession is very much like the historian.
A. I am interested in computers. It is a whole new world. My mother is a teacher
and my father is a doctor. But I don't want to be neither a teacher nor a doctor.
My favourite subjects in school are mathematics, physics, and, of course, computer science. My
hobby is computer games and computer programming. I have a сomputer at home and can spend
hours working at it. I think that the profession of programmer can give many opportunities. So
after I finish school I want to enter the university and study computer science.
B. My father is working for an international company as a managing director. My father is very
busy. He often comes late from work. But I can see that he likes his job. And he always finds the
time to spend with me and mum. Sometimes he tells us about the difficult situations, which his
company faces. It is so interesting to listen to him. My father is a friendly person and he is easy
to talk to. I respect my father. I think our country needs good businesspeople. After I finish
school I'm going to enter the university and study marketing or management.
C. I suppose my future profession is one of the most important .
My future speciality is English (Literature, Russian, History, Geography). I love children very
much and this profession is my dream. To teach and to bring up(воспитывать) children is the
most important and noble thing. I’ll try to help them to become good and clever people, to be
honest, kind and noble.
Children are our future and I want them to be really good and educated people.
