ЦЕЛИ УРОКА:
Образовательная: развитие навыков устной речи по теме,
активизация в речи учащихся лексических единиц и
грамматических структур в действительном и страдательном залоге
Познавательная: расширение и углубление культурологических
знаний
Развивающая: развитие навыков языковой догадки, реакции,
памяти, внимания, мышления
Воспитательная: формирование уважительного отношения к
языку, расширение кругозора, умения активно и плодотворно
работать в коллективе
Тип урока: урок обобщающего повторения
Оснащение урока: мультимедийное оборудование, компьтер,
раздаточный материал, магнитофон, диск
ХОД УРОКА
1. Организационный момент.
1. Приветствие, сообщение целей и задач урока. Проблема
урока.
T: Good morning, boys and girls! I’m glad to see you! Today we are
going to sum up information about British holidays and traditions to
compare holiday lists in Russia and Britain. But at the beginning of
our lesson I’d like to formulate the problem question. -Why is it
important to know more about traditions of foreign countries?-You’ll
have to think it over and give your answer at the end of our lesson. Is
everything clear? Let’s start!
2. Фонетическая зарядка. «Мозговой штурм».
T. : What comes into your mind when you hear the word
“HOLIDAYS”? Give as many words as you can
(ученики называют слова, связанные с темой урока)
T: Now look at the blackboard at holyday collage and name the
holidays. (2 слайда с символами праздников)
T: Well, I see that you know the names of British holidays! But what
about their dates? Match the columns!
(слайд №3) Ученики называют даты праздников, используя
предложения в действительном и страдательном залоге.
3. T: We have learnt a lot of facts about British holidays!
You have prepared a few presentations. You are welcome!

4. Разминка. Now I want you to relax a bit and sing Исполнение 1
куплета песни Jingle Bells.
T: When do people in Britain usually sing it?
5. Is New Year as popular in Britain as Christmas?
Now I want you to imagine yourselves as translators. You’ll have to
translate a few sentences from Russian into English
1) Существует интересная традиция, связанная с Новым годом в
Британии. Это «первая нога»- There is an interesting tradition
connected with New Year’s Day in Britain. It’s «the First Foot»
2) Это должен быть мужчина, не женщина. It must be a man, not a
woman.
3) Cчитается, что если женщина войдет в дом первой 1 января,
то несчастья будут преследовать семью весь год. It is believed
that if a woman enters a house first on the 1 of January, bad luck
will follow the family all the year through.
4) Традиционно, первый посетитель должен приносить кусочек
угля, хлеб и воду. Traditionally the First Foot must bring a piece
of coal, some bread and water.
6. T: Thank you. It was perfect!

Презентация о празднике.
T: Is this holiday popular in Russia? Who usually celebrates it? What
similar holidau do we observe in Russia in July?
(The Day of Family, Love and Faithfulness) What is the symbol of
the holiday? (daisy-wheel, camomile –ромашка)
7.Задания по группам. Группы задают друг другу вопросы о
праздниках Easter, Halloween.
8.T: In the holiday list there are 2 strange holidays. What are they?
What do you know about Spring and Summer Bank Holidays?
9. Задание по группам. Составить поздравительные открытки из
предложенных карточек. Прикрепить карточки к магнитной
доске.
10. T: I want to remind you the problem question of our lesson. Why
is it important to know traditions of other countries?
11. Рефлексия.
12.Подведение итогов урока.
