HALLOW EEN
Цели:
- Познакомить детей с традициями страны изучаемого языка.
- Развивать у детей коммуникативную компетенцию.
- Развивать навыки говорения и выступления на публике.
- Формировать умение работать в команде.
- Воспитывать чувство товарищества и взаимопомощи.
- Повысить мотивацию к изучению английского языка.
Оформление класса: окна завешиваются черными шторами, на шторах и по стенам класса
развешиваются картинки с символами Хэллоуина (привидения, черные коты, ведьмы, летучие
мыши, тыквы, мумии, скелеты, черные шарики.). На доске плакат с названием праздника.
Тыква со свечкой на учительском столе.
Ход урока-игры.

It’s Halloween! It’s Halloween!
The moon is full and bright.
And we shall see what can’t be seen
On any other night!
Good evening, dear pupils and our guests. Welcome to our Halloween lesson!
At first we'll do phonetic exercises. Look at the blackboard! You can see some words about
Halloween. Repeat after me:
1. Halloween — Хэллоуин; канун Дня всех святых
2. "trick or treat" — "угощайте, а не то подшутим"

And now we'll listen to a story about this holiday.
(Рассказывает один из учеников. Примерный рассказ:
Halloween is a festival that takes place on October 31. Halloween developed from new year festivals
and festivals of the dead. Christian church established a festival on November 1 called All Saints' Day
so that people could continue to celebrate their festivals.
The day before All Saints' Day was known all hallows' Eve or All Hallow e'en.
The main Halloween activity for people is trick-or-treating. They dress in costumes and masks and go
from door to door saying "trick or treat". The neighbours give them such treats as candy, fruit and
pennies so that they do not play tricks on them.
Jack-o'-lanterns are hallowed-out pumpkins with face carved into one side and contain a candle inside.
People once believed that there were many ghosts and witches on the Earth and that they met on
October 31 to worship the devil. Today, people do not believe in ghosts and witches but they like to
tell stories about them on Halloween.
Хэллоуин — это праздник, который отмечается 31 октября. Хэллоуин развился из праздника
Нового года и празднеств в честь мертвых. Христианская церковь основала праздник 1
ноября, который называется День всех святых, чтобы люди могли продолжать отмечать
свои праздники.
Месса, которую служили в День всех святых, называлась "Оллхэллоумэс". День перед Днем
всех святых назывался кануном Дня всех святых или "Олл хэллоуин".
Главное развлечение людей на Хэллоуин — это выпрашивание сладостей. Все переодеваются в
маскарадные костюмы и маски, ходят от дома к дому и говорят: "Угощайте, а не то
подшутим". Соседи дают такие угощения, как конфеты, фрукты, и мелочь, чтобы с ними
не сыграли злую шутку.
Фонари на Хэллоуин — это пустые внутри тыквы с вырезанным с одной стороны лицом. В
большинстве фонарей внутри находится свеча. В ирландской легенде говорится, что фонари
на Хэллоуин (по-английски jack-o'-lanterns) названы так в честь человека по имени Джек.
Он не мог попасть в рай, потому что он был скрягой, и не мог попасть в ад, потому что играл
злые шутки над дьяволом. В результате Джек вынужден бродить по земле со своим фонарем
до Судного дня.
Когда-то люди верили, что на земле полно ведьм и что они встречаются 31 октября, чтобы
поклоняться дьяволу. Сегодня люди не верят в привидения и ведьм, однако они любят
рассказывать о них истории на Хэллоуин.)
The well-known symbol of the Halloween is a pumpkin. Let’s listen a poem about 5 pumpkins.

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,
The first one said: "Oh, my! It’s getting late!"
The second one said: "There are witches in the air!"
The third one said: "But we don’t care!"
The fourth one said: "Let’s run and run, and run!"
The fifth one said: "I’m ready for some fun!"
Oooo went the wind and out went the light
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Взошла луна на небе, свет озарил простор.

Tell this story in different way: one team in humour way, the other team like you have the
headache.
In the dark-dark room there is a dark-dark table. On a dark-dark table there is a dark-dark vase. In a
dark-dark vase GIVE ME YOUR HEART!!!( напугать кого-то).

1. When witches go riding, and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, 'tis near
Halloween.

2. The devil is not so bad as he is painted.

3. Whenever the cat of the house is black, the lasses of lovers will have no lack.

4. Everyone has debts at Halloween.
Каждый обзаводится долгами в Хеллоуин
5. Talk of the devil and he will appear.

На заключительном этапе урока учащимся предлагается оценить урок при помощи заполнения
особой формы результативности деятельности в виде желтых (понравилось) и черных (не
понравилось) тыковок, которые показывают отклик детей на выполненные задания.
