Урок представляет собой практикум по говорению и чтению по теме «Спорт – это весело»
(Unit 4, Section 2, Keeping Fit).
Цели урока:
1. Образовательные:
Развитие коммуникативной компетенции:
- речевой – развитие навыков ознакомительного и изучающего чтения.
- языковой - овладение новыми грамматическими (прилагательные и наречия) и
лексическими средствами в соответствии с темой и ситуацией общения.
2. Развивающие:
Формирование навыков самостоятельности, коллективного речевого взаимодействия,
логику, мышление, способность осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия.
3. Воспитательные:
Развитие личности учащихся посредствам реализации воспитательного потенциала
иностранного языка – осознание необходимости вести здоровый образ жизни путем
информирования об общественно признанных формах поддержания здоровья и
обсуждения необходимости отказа от вредных привычек.
Задачи урока:
1. Ознакомить учащихся с правилами образования и практиковать употребления
прилагательных и наречий в речи.
2. Развивать навыки изучающего чтения по теме «Здоровый образ жизни».
3. Формировать навыки устной речи.

1. Good morning! I’m glad to see you. I hope you are
well and ready to work. You may take your seats!
2. Introduction. Today we continue to talk about
different kinds of sport. We have already discussed and
read about the most popular sports in Russia and other
countries. Today we are going to find out how it is
important to do sport and find the ways to be healthy.
Let’s begin our lesson with the revision of the most
common ways of keeping feet. Try to answer the
questions quickly.
- Do you think it is important to look great? (Yes, I
do. I think it is important to look great.)
- Do you agree with … ? Why? Why not? ( It is
important to look great if you want other people to
like you.)
- What do you do to look great? (I go in for
running).
- Is it healthy to go in for swimming? (In my
opinion, it is useful. I become strong and
energetic. I can rid of stress.)
- Which is you favourite sport … ? (I like playing
hockey.)
- Are you good at playing hockey? (Yes, I am. I took
part in different matches.)
- Can healthy food help us to look wonderful? ( Yes
it can. Healthy food can help us look wonderful.)
Now it is very interesting to know what we should do to
keep feet. Is it interesting for you? Read the text to your
self, find out how people keep fit and answer the
questions from the task. Exercise 16, page 104 from
your textbook.
I suggest you doing this exercise in pairs. Will you read
the task of exercise 17, page 104? The first task for you
is to name tree purposes to keep fit. The second task is to
name five ways to keep fit. You will have three minutes
to do this task.

Now let us see, what rules should we do if we want to
keep fit:
-get up early and go to bed early;
-do sport;
-take regular exercises;
-take a cold shower every day;
-eat healthy food and never smoke;
-wash the hands before you eat and clean your teeth
twice a day.
Let’s find out if you keep fit. Answer the questions from
exercise 18, page 104 and red the advice.
1. We shall revise, learn and compare the adjectives
and the adverbs. (Slide№1)
2. Look at the examples from exercise 19, page 105
in your textbook. Read the sentences from
exercise 20, page 105 aloud and translate them.
3. The next task for you is exercise 21, page 105.
Choose the right word and complete the sentences
with it.
If time permits, there is an interesting extra tasks.
