Конспект урока “Town life”

Открытый урок по теме “Town life”
Цель урока: Развитие навыков аудирования и монологической речи.
Задачи: 1. Закрепление ЛЕ по теме “Town life”
2. Повторение грамматического материала (Present Perfect Tense).
3. Составить монологическое высказывание на основе
прослушанного текста.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент:
А) приветствие;
Б) объявление цели урока:
- Today our lesson consists of 2 parts. We are going to listen to the text and
then to do some tasks. But before listening we should revise the words on the
topic «Town life” and the Present Perfect Tense.
II. Активизация ЛЕ по теме:
1) работа по картинкам (см. Презентация, слайды 2-9)
- First I want you to look at the pictures and answer my questions
+ Is this a city or a town?
+ What is this? (bridge) Where can you see this bridge?
+ What city is it? Have you ever been to Saint-Petersburg?
+ What’s this? (theatre) Are there any theatres in our town?
+What’s this? (church) Are there many churches in Tver?
+Whom is this monument to?
2) составление словосочетаний и их использование в предложениях (см.
Презентация, слайд 10):
- Look at the blackboard. There are 2 columns with adjectives and nouns
that you can find in the text. Your task is to make up as many correct word
combinations as you can and then use them in your own sentences.
II. Cовершенствование грамматических навыков:
1) повторение форм неправильных глаголов (карточки):
- Recently we have learnt the irregular verbs. Let’s remember some of
them. I show you the card and you name 3 forms of this verb;
2) Грамматический тест (см. Презентация, слайд 11):
- Take a piece of paper with grammar test. Choose and circle the right
variant. You have 5 minutes. (in 5 minutes) Let’s check your work.
Read aloud the right variant.
IV. Снятие языковых трудностей перед прослушиванием:
1) фонетическая отработка новых или трудных слов (см. Презентация,
слайд 12);
а) repeat after me;
b) make up your word combinations;
c) what’s the English for:
+ Мы живем недалеко от центра города.
+ Наша жизнь отличается от вашей жизни.
+ Я собираюсь посетить Шотландию.
+ Где я могу перейти через мост?
V. Работа с аудиотекстом № 48:
1) первое прослушивание текста и ответы на вопросы для проверки
понимания общего смысла:
+ Does Don live in a big city or in a small town?
+ How many parts are there in a town?
2) повторное прослушивание для детального понимания текста и
выполнение задания:
- Listen to the text once more to understand it better. Then you’ll do a
short test.
- (после прослушивания) Read the statements then agree or disagree
with them (см. Презентация, слайд 13);
VI. Составление монологического высказывания на основе
прослушанного текста:
- And now try to tell what you’ve learnt about Don and his town. Some
word combinations on the blackboard (the piece of paper) may help
you (см. Презентация, слайд 14);

VII. Подведение итогов урока
- Your answers were good (excellent). You’ve tried to do the best and
according to your answers and your work at the lesson I give you the
following marks…;
VIII. Домашнее задание:
- Write a letter to your pen-friend about your native town.
