Past Continuous Tense Прошедшее длительное время

• указывает на событие или процесс, длившийся в определенный период времени в прошлом. 

Случаи употребления 

• употребляется для описания действия, которое длилось в определенный момент в прошлом.
Example: They were watching the Star Wars yesterday.

Правила написания окончания -ing у глаголов. play => playing (играть) laugh => laughing (смеяться) do => doing (делать) ИСКЛЮЧЕНИЯ: bake => baking (печь) -y: lie => lying (лгать) beg – begging (умолять), begin – beginning (начать), run – running (бежать) Схема утвердительного предложения.
