I абзац – Вступление = Introduction
“Правильное” вступление состоит из 2-3 предложений и знакомит нас с проблемой, указанной в самом
задании. Например, в примере нашего задания написано “what books genres are popular among
teenagers”. Знaчит, нам нужно обязательно вставить эту фразу в наше вступление ( можно что то
заменить в ней на синонимы).
Обязательно надо указать / написать :
1) что вы делаете проект и указать / написать тему проекта (из задания)
2) что вы нашли к нему материалы / данные опроса и сейчас про это будете рассказывать
3) что опрос проводился в стране Zetland ( за отсутствие снимается 0,5 балла)
Пример вступления: It is hard to deny the importance of reading in a teenager ’s life . I have decided to do a
project on what books genres are popular among teenagers and found the results of an opinion poll to
illustrate some of my ideas. Below I will give my comments on the results of the poll.
*Фразы, выделенные в тексте жирным шрифтом в этом и других абзацах, можно использовать как
клише в эссе по любой теме.
Кроме этих, есть и другие фразы-клише для вступления:
- It is well known that… (topic = выбранная тема)
- Nowadays more and more people + action connected with the topic ( действие, связанное с темой
проекта: плавают, вяжут, путешествуют и т.п.)
- Over the last few decades there has been a significant increase in the number of people who (do something
connected with the topic).
- (Topic of the essay = Swimming/Reading/…) plays an important role in our life
- Undoubtedly, all people (action connected with the topic )
-Nowadays it is impossible to imagine … ( e.g. life ) without …
II абзац –это начало Основной части = Body
В плане эссе во 2 параграфе требуется проанализировать 2-3 факта из графика/ таблицы /диаграммы.
Лучше остановиться на 2 фактах с максимальными и минимальными показателями и написать о них,
обязательно указывая количество процентов цифрами. В этом абзаце ничего сравнивать не надо!
As we can see from the chart, 55.4% of readers in Zetland prefer adventure stories to all other genres, while
romance is the least well-liked kind of literature among youngsters with only a fifth from that number (17.6 %)
present in the opinion poll. Also, teenagers are keen on reading detective/war/spy, sports, and animal stories.
Фразы-клише для 2 абзаца:
-the main features of this table/graph/pie chart … - what stands out from the table/graph/pie chart…
- one can see from the poll that … - another striking feature is…
- the most popular … the least popular … - looking at the main features…
- if we look at the graph/table/pie chart, we can see …
III абзац – анализ и сравнение, т.е. нужно проанализировать данные из графика и представить 1-2
сравнения. В принципе достаточно 1, но можно и 2 ( в зависимости от вашего понимания данных в
графике /таблице и количества написанных слов).
! Если во 2 абзаце вы сравнивали данные А и В, то в 3 абзаце надо сравнить А и Д/C или В и Д/C
Сравниваем ЛЮБЫЕ черты в графике, главное, чтобы:
1) было освещено ТРИ ФАКТА ( всего! )
2) нельзя сравнивать данные из 2 абзаца
Например:
Looking at the figures in the table, we can see that sports stories (noted by 49.2 % of respondents) are almost
twice as popular as animal stories. Another interesting feature of the poll is that adventure and
detective/war/spy stories are twice as favored as animal stories (27.2 %).
Тут, как и во втором параграфе, нет единственно правильного ответа, главное, чтобы было написано
логично в соответствии с данными.
Здесь можем использовать разные сравнительные структуры:
-in comparison/ in contrast, … / - on the other hand …/ However, … / Likewise,…
- not as/so … as / - while / whereas / although / but
IV абзац -Проблема + решение - Эта часть эссе обычно самая объемная, потому что нужно указать
проблему, связанную с темой проекта, и предложить её решение. В нашем примере она не
обязательна связана именно с подростками, главное – она должна быть про чтение.
Although we see that teenagers are still reading books, there is a problem connected with this topic. With the
development of TV young people would rather watch a show than read a book. I believe that the best
solution to this problem would be advertising the importance of reading on the 1st channel. This could be
done on the show “Pust Govoryat” with Andrey Malakhov. Such a policy would help adolescents spend more
time reading rather than watching unwise people showing little intelligence on TV.
Фразы-клише для IV абзаца:
- the main problem with … is … - general solutions center around…
- the main problem faced by … is … - one effective solution to deal with … is
- the foremost problem here is … - a solution that can prove successful is …
V абзац - Заключение + ВАШЕ МНЕНИЕ (подводим итог и пишем свое мнение по теме проекта)
I would like to conclude by saying that, in my opinion, reading is of primary importance for every person as it
aids in sleep readiness, prevents cognitive decline when you age, lowers blood pressure and heart rate.
Выражения для заключения / подведения итогов:
- To conclude/ sum up/ summarise … - Taking all this into account/ consideration …
- All in all… All things considered… - In short/ In conclusion …
Клише для выражения своего мнения: - Personally, I think that … / In my opnion, … / In my view, … / In my
point of view…/ I believe that … / I am convinced that / I strongly believe that …
