Технологическая карта урока "Computers in our modern life" 7 класс

В эпоху новых информационных технологий представляется необходимым
проведение серии занятий по иностранному языку с использованием компьютера. Такие
занятия несут в себе как познавательные, так и воспитательные задачи.
Предмет: английский язык
Кружок: «Занимательный английский».
Педагог: Портнягина Матильда Андреевна
Тема занятия: “Computers in our modern life”.
Продолжительность открытого занятия: 30 минут (45 мин).
Тип занятия: занятие-дискуссия.
План-конспект занятия
Цель занятия: способствовать формированию навыка общения в заданной ситуации с
использованием новой лексики, развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся с
помощью проблемных заданий.
Задачи:
Предметные
1. Активизировать лексику по теме “Компьютеры”;
2. Формирование лексических навыков говорения и аудирования, применение их на
практике, учащиеся знакомятся с тем, что могут или не могут выполнять компьютеры;
3. Развитие у учащихся коммуникативных компетенций: проверка сформированности
монологической речи по данной теме.
Метапредметные
1. Развитие способности к анализированию изученной информации, умения выражать свое
мнение, находить аргументы в поддержку своей точки зрения и опровергать позицию
оппонента, делать выводы.
2. Развитие памяти.
3. Развитие мотивации к изучаемой теме.
Личностные
1. Формирование уважения к мнению других людей; умения вести дискуссию, слушать и
слышать собеседника, соблюдать речевой этикет.

Речевой материал: keyboard, mouse, to surf (the Internet), flame, a geek, mouse pad, speakers,
headphones, cable, display monitor/screen, printer, laptop, mobile phone/cell phone, world wide
web, memory cards, the tablet, to click, CD discs, e-mail, a password, to boot, webcam, system
block/unit, joystick.
Режим работы: фронтальный, индивидуальный, работа в мини-группах.
Виды упражнений: языковые, условно-речевые, речевые.
Оснащение занятия: занятие проводится в компьютерном классе; мультимедийный
проектор, компьютер, карточки с лексическими единицами на тему «Компьютер»,
видеофильм «Smart house», презентация «Computers in our modern life».

Ход занятия
I. Beginning of the lesson.
Teacher: Good morning dear children! I’m glad to see you at the lesson. How are you? Today we
are having an unusual lesson, English lesson with Information Technology lesson. I think it will
be a very interesting lesson. English and Information Technology are closely connected.
We will start our lesson with the picture and while watching this picture (Презентация, слайд 1-
3)., try to guess: What will be the topic of the lesson? (учащиеся определяют тему занятия)
“Computers in our modern life”. Yes, this is what we are going to speak about at our lesson.
What will we do at the lesson? At this lesson we will (учащиеся определяют задачи занятия):
a) learn about computers, work with a computer and discuss the problem of new technologies.
b) learn the vocabulary on the topic
c) develop listening skills
d) work in group
e) you’ll answer questions
f) at last we shall make ourselves sure that computer helps to improve English and makes our
studies more pleasant.
I hope you’ll take an active part in the lesson.
II. Warming up.
Do you have a computer at home?
How often do you use it?
What computer terms do you deal with when you use a computer?
Teacher : No doubt, everyone has a computer at home. We use it every day. We do different things
on the computer. Today we’ll acquaint with some computer terms. And now I would like you to
ask your partners to find out what she/he uses computer for.
Use the expressions

III. Vocabulary work.
Teacher: In the world of computers we use some special words and expressions. Some of them
have two meanings: from the general English and from the sphere of computers. So, let’s try to
guess the meaning of the words and do this exercise. Look at the screen please (Презентация,
слайд 4)
Учащиеся читают определения к предложенным словам и выбирают тот вариант,
который относится к области компьютеров.
Даётся перевод обоих значений слов (догадка по дефиниции)
VOCABULARY:
• a mouse –
1) мышь;
2) мышка (компьютерная)
• to surf –
1) заниматься серфингом;
2) искать/бродить по Интернету
• a flame –
1) пламя;
2) неприветливое (грубое) письмо по электронной почте
• to boot –
1) ударить ногой;
2) стартовать компьютер
• a bug –
1) жук;
2) ошибка в компьютерной программе
• a geek –
1) фокусник, иллюзионист;
2) профессионал в компьютерном деле
Педагог предлагает учащимся составить несколько предложений, используя новые слова
из данного упражнения
Sample answers: Yesterday my brother got a flame when he was surfing the Internet. We are
going to buy a new mouse for our PC. This one doesn’t work. I can’t boot my computer, there’s
something wrong. Michael is a real geek, he knows everything in the world of computers.
IV. “Memory game” (происходит проверка и закрепление пройденных ЛЕ, а также
улучшение зрительной и слуховой памяти)

Before we sit at our computers, read the “Safety engineering” please. (The “Safety Engineering”
rules are on the displays of the computers)
“Safety Engineering”
While working with a computer, be sure that the desk is suitable. The display should be 60-70
cm far from your eyes and the distance from the keyboard is 30-40 cm.
Педагог просит учащихся сесть за компьютеры. Дискуссия и демонстрация того, что
могут делать компьютеры. Ряд заданий в процессе этой дискуссии учащиеся выполняют
с помощью компьютера. Учащиеся смотрят на экран и отвечают на вопросы.

Педагог просит учащихся решить ряд математических примеров на компьютере
(программа “Калькулятор”, среда Windows).
Teacher: Will you, please, count the following?
For example:
467 * (255 – 134);
What is the answer, please?
2) Yes, they can translate. But some translations look really funny.
Комментарий педагога: Компьютерный перевод несовершенен. Например,
словосочетание pay the piper (учащиеся отвечают) компьютерная программа перевела что
это “оплатить волынщику”, но на самом деле это словосочетание переводится как
/расплачиваться/платить по долгам/брать расходы на себя. So, let’s see some examples of
using these word combination (Видео 1, 2)
3) Yes, computers can speak English, but limited.
1. Yes, they can play chess.
2. No, they can’t see. It’s impossible.
3. No, computers can’t do crosswords. Though some modern ones probably can.
4. Unfortunately computers can’t hear as well as smell.
5. Yes. Of course, they can print some documents.
Педагог просит учащихся написать с помощью компьютера несколько предложений о
том, что они умеют делать с помощью компьютера (выполняется в текстовом
редакторе MS Word).
Teacher: Will you, please, write a few sentences about what you can do with the help of your
personal computer using MS Word.
Sample answer: I have a computer at home. I can use and operate it quite well. I can make my
own pictures, I play games, for example, The Great Battle and Counterstrike, I write letters to my
e-mail friend (his nick is Theo) and I can make some programs in Q Basic! I hope I will be able to
do some other things in the future.
1. Yes, computers can forecast the weather.
2. Yes, they can make music. (But not like Mozart!)
3. No, computers can’t have conversations.
4. No, they can’t write books. Only the man can write them with their help.
5. No, they can’t think.
6. Yes, computers can paint. (But not like Levitan!) They do it with our help.
Педагог просит учащихся сделать любое изображение с помощью программы Paint Brush.
Teacher: And now using Paint Brush, please, make a drawing of your own: a portrait of your
classmate. Let’s guess who it is! Stand up, walk around and see each other’s pictures.
Далее педагог задаёт ещё несколько вопросов, например:
And can computers eat? Drink? Fall in love?
Суммируя упражнение, педагог спрашивает:
Can computers replace people?
Sample answer: As we see, computers can do a lot of things, but not all of them, that’s why they
can’t replace people. We are better in many ways. But we all use PCs to make our life easier.
VII. Managing with a computer. Speaking / giving opinions.
Teacher . Everybody at home has different gadgets and electronical machines which are used
in everyday life. Name the things without what you can’t imagine living in your house.
( A dish washer, a Vacuum-cleaner, a microwave –oven, fridge). You know soon everything at
home will be operated with computers. Such houses are called “Smart houses”. What these
houses look like? Let’s watch a short video about it and tell me you opinion about it.
Would you like to live in a smart house? Why? Would you like to have a robot? What would
you like it to do for you?
VIII. Advertisement presentation (резервное задание)
The next task is to make your own advertising for the gadget. Think of the following: name, price,
what it can do.

IX. Conclusion of the lesson
Summary
• We have learned and trained vocabulary on the topic.
• We have known about what computer can do or can’t.
• Worked in groups and listened to each other.
