Пояснительная записка.
Автор: Наумова Мария Владимировна, учитель английского языка
ГБОУ СОШ №447.
Тип урока: Урок систематизации и обобщения знаний и умений.
Цель: Обеспечение систематизации предметных знаний,
универсальных учебных действий по теме «International Women’s Day».
Задачи
Образовательные:
1. Работая с дополнительной литературой, обсуждая информацию в группах и в
классе, вспомнить и обобщить материал по теме «International Women’s
Day»
2. В ходе проведения урока, обучающиеся узнают о появлении праздника,
повторят лексику на тему «celebration», повторят время Past Simple.
Развивающие:
1. Продолжить развитие познавательного интереса обучающихся к предмету;
2. развивать у обучающихся интеллект, культуру речи, память, волю, умение
преодолевать трудности при самостоятельной работе с литературой и
выступлении перед одноклассниками;
3. совершенствовать навыки анализа, систематизации, обобщения при работе с
текстом.
Воспитательные:
1. способствовать воспитанию у обучающихся таких качеств как
самостоятельность, терпение, взаимоуважение;
3. воспитывать коммуникативную культуру школьников.
УУД
Личностные. Формируются ответственное отношение к учебе, готовность и
способность к саморазвитию и самообразованию на основе мотивации к
обучению и познанию; происходит улучшение коммуникативной
компетентности.
Познавательные. Строят логические цепи рассуждений. Производят анализ и
преобразование информации.
Регулятивные. Учатся определять цель своей деятельности, самостоятельно
двигаться по заданному плану, оценивать полученный результат.
Коммуникативные. Формируются речевые умения: учатся формулировать
высказывание. .

2 Цели и задачи урока
Coinciding with Women’s History Month, International Women’s Day is a
global celebration observed on 8 March every year. It is an opportunity to celebrate
the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, as well as
highlight those areas where action is still needed to bring about equality. So the
theme of our lesson is «Mother's Day».
The 8
th
of March is a great official holiday for all women. It began in 1909 by women
in New York streets who asked for better working conditions. Women’s Day is not
celebrated in Great Britain. The British celebrate another wonderful holiday in
spring. It’s called Mother’s Day.

In the old days many girls from poor families in the country worked in rich houses.
They did all the house work and their working day was usually very long. They
often worked on Sundays, too. Once a year, it was usually a Sunday in March, they
could visit their mothers. They went home on that day and brought presents for
their mothers and for other members of their families. They could stay at home
only one day and then they went back to their work. People called that day
Mothering Day or Mothering Sunday. Later workers at the factories and girls who
worked in the houses of rich families received one free day a week, and Mothering
Day became Mother's Day.
