Цели:
- формировать коммуникативную компетенцию,
- развивать активное самостоятельное мышление учащихся,
- развивать их творческие способности.
Задачи:
- систематизировать изученный материал по теме,
- формировать умение грамматически и фонетически правильно строить иноязычную речь,
- научить отстаивать свою точку зрения на поставленную проблему,
- воспитывать культуру языкового общения и уважительное отношение к труду других людей.
Оборудование: компьютер, проектор, экран, презентации
Ход урока:
1. Организационный момент.
T. Good morning, boys and girls! I'm glad to meet you. How are you? You may sit down.
Who is on duty today? What date is it today? What day of week is it today? What season is it now?
What is the weather like today? Who is absent?
So, my dear friends, today we have guests at our lesson. Don’t worry and be calm.
Today we are going to continue speaking about teenagers: their clothes, music, different groupings
and their values. And you will present your projects.
But first of all some phonetic exercises.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
Read these words, please! Read first nouns, then verbs, and at last adjectives.
Brand name, dress code, mood, scholarship, snowboarding, zorb, to identify, suppress, schedule,
trendy, to evoke, compulsory, rhythmic, martial, to please one’s parents, up-to-date, indignant .
3. Речевая зарядка.
Is it easy to be young? Teen’s life is not very easy, nowadays.
Why is the teens’ life difficult? Many problems are associated with being young.
What problems do teens have? School problems, family problems, personal problems, cruelty,
discrimination, bad habits.
What are the reasons of the problems? Young people want to enjoy life, be independent and be
taken seriously, to express their individuality and do well at school, earn money and change the
world for the best. The problem is that sometimes teens do not get what they want. As a result,
teenagers try to rebel against the society and reject everything. That is why they have different
problems. The reasons of these problems are rather various.
Who can help to solve the problems? By all means, a lot of the problems can be solved. If a teenager
has any problem he can:
1. Cope with it himself;
2. Ask his parents or friends;
3. Ask adults;
4. Ask school;
5. Ask the Government or special organizations.
What can make teenagers happy? Teenagers are young and full of energy; They have lots of friends;
Young people can choose any way of life they want;
They are too young to see only bad sides of life.
Now, please, give some characteristics to youth.
(Youth is a time when a person is trying to find his place in the world. He or she comes across
different problems. Teenagers prefer to make their own mistakes rather than to listen to the
warnings of the adults. Young people want to live their own life and overcome their own difficulties
themselves.)
All people have problems. Some of them have many problems, the others have one or two problems
only. Young people have as many problems as the grown-ups. It is possible to solve problems.

questions.
