ЦЕЛИ: Воспитательные:
1. Воспитание доброго отношения к животным, заботы о животных.
2. Поддерживать интерес учащихся к английскому языку посредством творческих уроков;
3. Формировать потребность и способность к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи в группе;
4. Воспитывать уважительное отношение к мнению других людей;
Развивающие цели:
1. Взаимосвязанное развитие мышления и эмоций.
2. Развитие речемыслительных механизмов выбора, комбинирования.
3. Развитие внимательности при слушании друг друга.
4. Развитие интеллектуальных способностей.
5. Развитие навыков аудирования.
Учебные цели (практические):
1. Контроль уровня сформированности навыков монологической речи и составления связных
высказываний;
2. Активизация лексических навыков;
3. Развитие навыков устной речи.
РЕЧЕВОЙ МАТЕРИАЛ - лексический и грамматический материал, усвоенный на предыдущих
уроках на рецептивном и продуктивном уровнях.
СРЕДСТВА: демонстрационный материал по теме «Животные»; раздаточный материал,
творческие работы учащихся, компьютерная презентация.
ФОРМЫ: групповая, коллективная, индивидуальная
Ход урока:
I Орг. момент.
Good morning, everybody. I’m very glad to see you. How are you? Are you fine today? That’s nice.
Then let’s start our lesson. Today we have a special lesson, we'll speak about animals in our life. Think a
little and tell me how you are planning to improve your English at the lesson? What would you like to do
today?
Pupil 1: I’d like to develop my speaking skills today.
Pupil 2: I’d like to get new information about different pets
Pupil 3:I’d like to develop my writing skills.
Pupil 4: I’d like to speak English with my friends.
Pupil 5: I’d like to present my project.

Каждый ученик группы говорит о своих планах и пожеланиях.
Objectives: (на экране)
to develop writhing and speaking skills;
to get new information about pets;
to present projects;
to know about my classmates’ pets;
to develop auditory skills.

Well, we'll speak about animals in our life, you will recite poems, ask and answer questions, solve
riddles, present your projects. I try just to listen to you. I hope the lesson will be interesting for you and
you will enjoy it
I.2. Фонетическая разминка.
Teacher: First of all let's prepare our tongues for the English language. Close your eyes and repeat after
me. [ i, o, ?, p, t, k, w, wow, ? ].
Now let's work at the sound [?]. Listen to the rhyme. Translate the rhyme. Repeat after me twice. Read
the rhyme (3 pupils). Read as quickly as you can. Look at the poem and try to remember. Recite the
poem by heart. ( на экране)

I like my cat.
It is my pet.
I.3. Речевая разминка.
Teacher: Answer my questions.
Are you fond of pets?
What pets can you see in the classroom?
What other pets do you know?
Do you have a pet?
Is it a dog or a cat?
What is his/her name?
Do you feed it every day?
How do you take care of your pet?
What can it do?
What do you teach your pet to do?
Is he/she a member of your family?
Is he/she funny?
Is he/she your best friend?
Does he/she good with dogs/cats?
Teacher: Dear boys and girls! I know that you like to play. Games help us to master English. Certainly
you know many English words connected with the topic “ Pets”. Do you know the names of different
pets? You will speak in turn. Who can say more?

Teacher: Fantastic! You know the names of many pets. A week ago I asked you to work at your projects
about your pets. You were divided into four groups to do this work. I know, children, that you are eager to
present your projects. Which group will be the first? The leaders of the groups come up to me and take
the cards. Tell us your numbers.
Now we know which group is the first and which group is the second. And we have found the third and
the fourth groups too.
1 группа my pet is a cat
2 группа my pet is a dog
3 группа my pet is a parrot
4 группа my pet is fish
Перед каждым проектом – загадка о данном животном.
I can catch a frog. I can lie on the mat.
I can sleep like a log. I can catch a rat.
I can find your sock. I’m black. I’m fat.

I’m very slim, I like to swim. I’m very shy, I like to fly.
I can grant your wish. I like my carrot.

После защиты каждого проекта следовало его обсуждение и оценка. Проекты оцениваются по
пятибалльной системе. Каждая группа после обсуждения заполняла следующую таблицу.

Подведение итогов.
Teacher: I should say that all projects were very interesting and beautifully illustrated. Besides all
of them have been presented brilliantly. Thank you for your answers. Many of you have pets. You must
take care of them. Look at the blackboard. Let’s read the rules of caring for your pets. ( на экране)

Caring for Your Pets
1. Your pet should have fresh water available all the time.
2. Feed your pet the right food regularly on schedule.
3. Some pets must be walked outside to go to the bathroom. Set aside time to do this.
Other pets need a special place. Keep it clean.
4. Some pets need special homes. Keep them clean.
5. Some pets need help keeping themselves clean, too.
6. Most pets need exercise to keep themselves healthy and happy.
7. Some pets play with toys. Make sure your pet has safe toys.
8. Many pets must go to the veterinarian for their yearly checkup. Make sure you do this.
9. If your pet looks sick or injured, bring it to your veterinarian.
Remember... all pets need love and care just as you do!
And now open your mark books and write down your home-task, please. . You will have very interesting
homework: I’ll give you some sayings and proverbs about animals. Your home-task will be to find
Russian equivalents for them.

PARROTS
Many people are fond of pets. They keep different animals
and
birds as pets. More often they are
dogs, cats, hamsters, parrots and fish.
As for me I like parrots. They are my favourite. pets. They are clever and nice. I've got a parrot. His
name is Kesha. He's blue. He's not big, he's little. He has got a small head, a yellow beak, a short neck, two
beautiful wings and a long tail. He lives in a cage.
I teach him to talk. He knows many words and can speak well. He can answer to his name. I take
care of my pet. I give him food and water every day. He likes fruit and vegetables. He likes to fly,
play and talk.
I love him very much. He is a member of our family.
DOGS
I have a dog. Its name is Jack. I was given this dog on my birthday when I was 8 years. Now she is 4
years old. Jack is a Labrador. Labradors are very special dogs: they are kind and clever. Our Jack has an
easy life: he plays in the garden and sleeps on the sofa, but as far as I know, many Labradors have real
jobs. They are guide dogs. Guide dogs get special training and help blind people. With a guide dog blind
people can go for a walk, to the bank or to the supermarket. It’s safe!
My cat.
1. I have a pet. It is our cat. We call her Lyusya. It is absolutely dark spot. Her eyes are green and her
nose is red. We think our cat is a pedigree cat, but we can’t know for sure. I picked her up in the street
she was a little furry black kitten. Now she is about 2 years old. Most of the time Lyusya curled up asleep
in one of her favourite places. When she is not asleep, she is quite independent.
I believe that cats have some power to comfort people. When I feel upset and lonely she begins to purr
and it helps me calm down. I don’t know why.
2. I have a little pussycat, A Goldfish
I love her very, very much Goldfish, goldfish,
Her eyes are bright, her tail is long, Fulfil my wish:
Her fur is soft to touch. Do my homework every day,
I often stroke my pussycat, Dance with me and sing and play
And then she purrs, you see,
Because I love my pussycat,
And pussycat loves me!
Fish
I want to tell you about my pets. I have an aquarium at home. It is rather big and light. There are some
plants and gold fish there. I like them very much. Goldfish are so beautiful and colourful! My pets are
healthy, active and happy because I take care of them. I keep the water fresh there, feed them every day
And I believe my pets can grant my wishes.
My pets can swim and play. I like to watch them swimming slowly. They say fish can help people relax.

My parrot? He is a talking bird.

him.

But in his dreams he sees
Palms and unknown jungle trees,
And hides from tropical rains.
I love little pussy,
Her coat is so warm,
And if I don't hurt her
She'll do me no harm.
So I'll not pull her tail,
Or drive her away,
But pussy and I
Very gently will play.
She will sit by my side
And I'll give her some food;
And pussy will love me
Because I am good
