“The Phantom of the Opera” was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber in 1988. It has been
successfully playing in London and New York.
There is an interesting legend about the phantom of the opera. It is said that the phantom of
the opera lived in the Paris Opera House. And it is said that nobody bought tickets in the box
number 5, because once, during the performance a big lamp fell on the people who was
sitting in the box number 5. Thats why people believe that the phantom of the opera is real.
