Викторина «Winter is my favorite season. Winter holidays»
Цели:повторение лексических единиц; поддержание интереса к изучению культурных
традиций страны изучаемого языка.
Оборудование: картинки по теме,снежинки для украшения кабинета; задания на
карточках, презентация .
Ход мероприятия:
Ведущий: Hello, dear guests! Hello dear kids and your parents! We are very glad to see you
all here.
Ведущий: Winter.
This is the season
When mornings are dark,
And birds do not sing
In the forests and park.
This is the season
When children ski
And Father Frost brings
The New Year Tree
Ведущий: Now it is time to start our competition. Our teams are ready with the poems and we
shall listen to them with great pleasure.
Команды по очереди представляют стихотворения по теме ,выученные заранее.
Примерные стихотворения:
1.New Year Day!

Let us sing.
And let us play.
2.Father Frost
Bring many toys
For little girls
And little boys!

Is likely to come.

Ведущий: Now it is time to play. Игра “Words”.
Предлагаем командам составить как можно больше слов, используя буквы из названий
праздников (New Year, Christmas). Составляем только слова- существительные. На
выполнение задания отводится 3 мин. В конкурсе побеждает команда, которая
составила наибольшее количество слов.
Игра «Продолжи логическую цепочку» Каждая команда получает карточку с заданием.
Ученикам дается 2 мин, чтобы выполнить задание и дописать подходящие слова.

Игра «Расшифруй слова»
Дети получают карточки со знакомыми словами, записанными в транскрипции.
Ученики из каждой команды по цепочке подходят к доске и записывают слова буквами.
Побеждает команда, безошибочно или с наименьшим количеством ошибок написавшая
все слова. Также учитывается время выполнения задания.
