Тема урока: Sochi. Spotlight on Russia.
Тип урока: урок культуроведения родной страны
Цели:
✓ ознакомить учащихся с Сочи, ее климатом и природой,
достопримечательностями
✓ совершенствовать навыков монологической и диалогической речи,
формирование навыков чтения
✓ развивать самостоятельность, креативность, воображение, способность
осуществлять продуктивные речевые действия, развивать
информационной и социокультурной компетенций
✓ воспитывать уважение к культуре родной страны, формировать
способности выражать своё мнение.

Учебник для 6 класса общеобразовательных учреждений. Москва: Express

Оборудование:
1. Мультимедийная установка: компьютер, проектор.
2. Презентация “Сочи” в программе Microsoft Power Point.
Урок разработан для учащихся 6-х классов и является уроком
культуроведения родной страны. Использование педагогических
технологий.
Ход урока
1. Оргмомент:
T: Good day, children.
P:
T: How are you?
P:
T: Today we have an unusual lesson, that is video - conference. I want you to
welcome our guests from school number 9 and I hope we'll become friends soon.
P: Good day.
T: So, today I want to speak with you about something! But I forgot how it’s called
in English. Could you help me?
P:
T: Look at the slide, there are some pictures. Are these pictures familiar to you?

P: These pictures are sights.
T: Now, think over our topic of lesson. What is the topic of our lesson?
P: Our lesson is about Sochi.
2. Этап вызова
T: Please, open your book at spotlight on Russia 12. You can see a title
«Spotlight on Russia visits Sochi - the resort capital of Russia».
What does it mean resort?
Resort - it is the place where you can go on holiday to have a rest.
Please read the meaning of it. Please translate it.
P: Курорт
T: That's right. Turn your attention to the presentation. We can see the Cluster,
please name the word you know about Sochi (см. Приложение 1).
T: Now let's watch the video.
P:
T: Do you like the video?
Now please tell me. Would you like to spend your holidays at Sochi?
P: Yes, of course, I would. I'd like to spend my holidays at the seaside.
T: Who was at the seaside?
Did you like there?
T: And now look at the picture at your book and describe it.
P: It's a sunny day. The sea is blue and calm. There are a lot of people on the sandy
beach. People are swimming and sunbathing.
T: Ok, thank you.
P: May I add?
T: you are welcome!
P: The children are making sand castles.
