TOPIC: ROAD SAFETY
Цель: - Cоздать условия для формирования учебно-познавательного интереса к новому учебному
материалу, поддержания интереса к изучению английского языка;
- Воспитывать умение использовать речевые средства и средства информационно-
коммуникационных технологий (ИКТ) для решения коммуникативных и познавательных задач;
-Совершенствовать коммуникативные умения в говорении, чтении и письме.
Оборудование: доска, мультипроектор, экран, магнитофон, аудиозапись СD1 №26,
раздаточный материал (карточки 1,2), видеоприложение: Dog’s life, Stop-look-listen-think.

Организационный момент. Приветствие. Сообщение цели урока. (Introduction)
Teacher: - Good morning, children. I’m glad to see you today. How are you? I would like you
to look at the board and think what we are going to talk about.
1. Фонетическая разминка. (Phonetic activities)
Teacher: Let’s start our lesson with some exercises for our tongues. What methods of
travelling do you know? Say the phrases after me.

3. Проверка домашнего задания. Чтение. Заполнение диаграмм. (Reading and
completing spider grams.
Teacher: It’s time to check up your home-task, let’s read the texts and do some tasks.
A. Look for a zebra crossing or a traffic lights crossing. Don’t cross between parked cars. Stop
before you walk onto the road. Stand on the pavement and look both ways for traffic. Make
sure it’s clear and walk straight across the road. Don’t run.
B. Always sit in the back seat if you are under 12 years old. Wear a seat belt. Don’t play with the
car door handles. Always use the door on the pavement side to get out of the car.
C. Stand well until the bus has stopped completely near the bus stop. Don’t push others when you
enter the bus. Sit down on your seat quickly. If there aren’t free seats, use handgrips. Don’t talk
to the driver. Don’t lean out of the window. Don’t wave from the window.

Teacher: As you know London is famous for its red double-decker buses. Tourists like to use
these buses because they are rather slow and they can enjoy the sights during their trip. Let’s
read the dialogue and see if we will know some new information about red double-decker
buses.

Helen: I’m tired. Let’s go by bus.
Ann: Where is the bus stop?
Helen: We don’t need the bus stop. Look! That double-decker bus has no doors.
Kate: Let’s run and hop on.
Ann: No. It’s not safe. Let’s go to the bus stop. We must buy tickets there.
Kate: No problem. We can buy them on the bus.
