С ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЕМ ИКТ

ПО ТЕМЕ «ST.VALENTINE`S DAY»

КЛАСС 4

Цель урока: познакомить учащихся с традициями Великобритании,

способствовать развитию интереса к изучению английского языка.

Задачи:

Обучающие:

 Познакомить учащихся с традициями и обычаями празднования Дня

Святого Валентина в Великобритании.

 Активизировать лексику на тему “St. Valentine’s Day”.

 Тренировать фонетические и слухопроизносительные навыки;

Развивающие:

 Развивать творческую фантазию, познавательный интерес, инициативу

в осуществлении иноязычной речевой деятельности.

 Способствовать развитию мышления, догадки учащихся;

Воспитательные:

 Воспитывать у учащихся чувство прекрасного и уважение к культуре и

традициям других народов.

 Воспитывать чувство взаимной ответственности, прививать навыки

работы в коллективе.

Тип урока: Комплексное применение знаний.

Оборудование:

 доска,

 украшение кабинета к празднику воздушными шарами, сердечками,

 проектор,

 экран,

 презентация,

 раздаточный материал:

- тексты о празднике для каждой команды,

- жетоны-сердца,

- кроссворд для каждой команды,

- пары (разрезанные сердца) для каждой команды,

Ход мероприятия

1.Организационный момент

Teacher: Good morning boys and girls! How are you, today? I am glad to see you.

Sit down, please.

(ответы детей, приветствие учителя).

Today is thre 14th of February. English people celebrate St. Valentine’s Day.

Today we’ll speak about this day, about symbols and about traditions of this day.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

We begin with the phonetic drill. Repeat after me, please. (слова фонетической

зарядки написаны на доске)

[ ] love, lovers, colour,

[ α: ] heart, card, party, sweetheart

[ і ] it, this, is, is this, this is, symbol, chocolate

[і: ] priest, sweets, meal, feel

[ei] day, name, famous, saint, holiday, decorate.

[ai] I, sign, my, like, Valentine, buy, write (2 minutes)

3. Основной этап:

As I have mentioned above there are a lot of symbols of this holiday. Look at the

screen. Let's call them (St. Valentine,priest, heart, sweets, love, cards, cupid, kiss,

Today we have 2 teams and now we are starting to compete. For every right

answer you will get “a heart». You should collect many hearts. OK? And my first

task is…

 Match two parts of the words (Valen – tine, pri – est, lo – ve, ro-se,cu-pid).

 Now I give you a text about this holiday. Your task is to read and translate it.

You have 10 minutes(Saint Valentine’s Day. Saint Valentine’s Day is a

holiday which is celebrated in Great Britain, the USA, and in many

European countries. This holiday is celebrated on the 14

of February. It

has many legends. One legend tells that Saint Valentine was a priest and

was famous for helping lovers. One of the traditions of this festival is to

send valentine’s cards. People send special cards to someone they love.

People usually don’t sign their names. The person who gets the card must

guess who sent it. On Valentine’s Day people give each other red roses,

because a red rose is a symbol of love. People also give each other

chocolates in red boxes that look like hearts.) Слайд №13

Now you can choose any rhyme you like and made your own valentines card for

your friend or Mum. I give you 5 minutes. (Команды делают валентинку из

полученных жетонов и подручных канцтоваров)
