урока английского языка по теме
«Shopping for Food» в 4 классе
Цель:
Развитие личности ребенка на основе формирования учебной деятельности:
образовательный компонент цели: отработать лексику по изученной теме в диалогической и
монологической речи;
развивающий компонент цели: развивать мотивацию к изучению языка, навык языковой догадки,
интеллект, память, совершенствование внимания;
воспитательный компонент цели: воспитать эмоционально-положительную направленность на
деятельность, как основного способа решения реальных проблем; воспитать чувство содружества,
сотрудничества.
Основные задачи:
1.Систематизировать и расширять лексику по теме “Shopping for food
2.Систематизировать правила чтения буквосочетаний: [ tʃ],[ [ʤ],[iː],
3.Развивать умения и навыки устной речи:
-учить понимать на слух основное содержание текста, построенного на знакомом
языковом материале;
-учить описывать картинку;
4. Развивать умения в чтении:
-учить восстанавливать текст, вставляя пропущенные слова;
-отвечать на вопросы, на основе прочитанного текста
Учебные материалы: компьютер, мультимедийная доска, электронная презентация по теме Food”,
картинки с едой, карточки с заданиями.
Форма урока: урок-игра (работа в парах).
Формы организации работы учащихся: групповая, парная, классификация,
аудирование, наблюдение, самоанализ.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент (1 минута)
Цель: создать настрой на урок, повторение и запоминание лексических конструкций
приветствия, часто используемых в английской речи)
T.: Good morning, dear friends! I am glad to see you.
P.: Good morning! We are glad to see you too.
T.: Sit down, please. How are you?
P.: We are fine, thank you. And you?
T.: I’m OK, thank you! I think we can start our lesson.
II. Сообщение темы и цели урока. (Побуждающий диалог) (3 минуты)
T: (слайд №1) Look at the screen and try to guess what we are going to talk about? What can you see in
the picture? Give me one word to name all these things. (FOOD)
P: We’ll talk about holiday, birthday party, food.
T: You are quite right! Today we are going to the Birthday party. Look at your desks, please.
You have the invitation letter. Read it, please. Who wrote this letter? (BABY ELEPHANT)
How do you think, can we go to Baby Elephant’s party right now?
P: No we can not.
T: You are absolutely right; we can not go to the birthday party, because we have NO ……
(Present)
So, what shall we do?
P: We must go to the shop and buy some presents for our friend.
T: You’re absolutely right. Now you know that we speak about Shopping for food.
How do you think what Baby Elephant likes to eat?
(Apples, bananas, sweets)

T.: Do you remember many food words? I hope that you know how to pronounce them correctly. You have
some cards on your desks. Read the words and write them in the table according to the sounds you can hear
in them. Some words you may use more than once. You have 2 minutes to do this task. Let’s do it in pairs.
T: Has anybody finished?
Please read your words, all the rest listen to _________ and correct the mistakes if he has any.
T: Look at the screen, please. Let’s check. (слайд №2).

IV. Речевая разминка (5 минут)
T: Look at Baby Elephant’s letter again. (Слайд 3) Where does he live?
(Fairy Land)
Yes, he lives in a Fairy Land. And we’ll go there by Fairy Land Train. (Слайд 4)
Our train will stop at such stations as “Fruit”, “Vegetables”, and Drinks”. Let’s divide into 3 groups.
Each group should give 4 words. You have 2 minutes to do this task.
Do you need some help? (Слайд 5) Look at these hints.
Read the words with the sound ….

V. Развитие аудитивных умений учащихся. (5 минут)
T: Dear, friends! Do you remember that today we visit our friend Baby Elephant? His mother is
very happy and she bought him a present too. Please, listen to the dialogue and try to guess what
Mother Elephant bought in the shop yesterday. (Слайд 6)
АУДИРОВАНИЕ ТЕКСТА:
Shop assistant: Hello, can I help you?
Mother elephant: Could I have a box of chocolate, please?
Shop assistant: A small or a big one?
Mother elephant: A big box, please. My son has a birthday party today. He is six.
Shop assistant: Oh, that’s great! Congratulations!
Mother elephant: Thank you.
Shop assistant: Anything else?
Mother elephant: No, that’s all. How much is the box?
Shop assistant: Five pounds.
Mother elephant: Here you are. Thank you.
Shop assistant: Bye-bye!
T: So, who can answer my question: What did mother Elephant buy for his son?
(A box of chocolate)
Right you are! You are very attentive! Now listen again and tell me how much the box of chocolate is?
(5 pounds)
VI. Физкультминутка. (2 минуты)
T: Children I think you are tired. Will you stand up, please? Let’s dance a little. (Слайд №7)
T: I am really pleased with you. Take your seats, please.
VII. Ознакомление с новой лексикой и отработка ее в диалогической и
монологической речи. (10 минут)
T: Dear friends, look at the screen! What is it? (Слайд №8)
P: It is a shop, supermarket.
T: Good! Imagine, we are in this supermarket now. And as you remember, we must buy a Present (some
food) for our Baby Elephant. Let’s go around and try to find out what we can buy in the shop. Open your
books at page 93. Look at the word combinations in exercise 25. Listen to the tape and learn how to
pronounce them correctly.
OK, let’s read and try to remember these word combinations.

Look at the screen and ask your friends what he or she would like to buy for Baby Elephant. Work in pairs.

P1: I’d like to buy three pieces of cake.
VIII. Закрепление пройденного материала в чтении. (10 минут)
T: Thank you. It’s time to read the story about Baby Elephant’s Birthday party. Exercise №26 in Student’s
Books. Complete the story with the words from the box. You have 2 minutes to do the task.

Look at the screen and complete the sentences. (Слайд 11)
IX. Подведение итогов. Выставление оценок. Домашнее задание. (2 минуты)
T: Very good! It’s time to finish our lesson.
