Тип урока: обобщающий
Цель урока: повторение изученной темы, повторение изученного лексического
материала, изучение и закрепление нового лексического материала, формирование
лексических, фонетических и грамматических навыков речи на уроке ИЯ.
Задачи урока:
-образовательные – углубление полученных ранее знаний, отработка нового лексического
материала, применение знаний в речи, расширение кругозора учащихся, формирование
навыков устной речи;
- развивающие – развитие мышления, наблюдательности, памяти, творческого
воображения;
- воспитательные – воспитание культуры поведения, дисциплины, общения на
английском языке;
- практические - формирование навыков устной речи, навыков чтения, обеспечивающих
основные познавательно-коммуникативные потребности учащихся на каждом этапе
обучения и возможность приобщения к культурным ценностям народов-носителей
изучаемого языка.
Формы работы: индивидуальная,фронтальная,групповая.
Формы взаимодействия: учитель – учащиеся; учащийся – учащийся.
Методы и приемы воздействия: беседа, монологическая речь, фронтальный опрос, КТД,
одобрение, похвала, ТСО

Today we’ll speak about Great Britain, look at the blackboard. You can
see a list of the words which we’ll use at the lesson.

*What countries does Great Britain consist of? (England, Scotland,
Wales, Northern Ireland)
Let’s match the flags with the names of countries:
England’s flag is represented by a red cross set on a white background.
This cross is known as the St George’s Cross.
The flag of Scotland features the cross of the Christian martyr St.
Andrews, which is also known as the Saltire. The Saltire is placed on a
blue background.
The Wales flag is an extraordinary looking flag which is divided into two
halves green and white with an image of a red dragon located right at
the center.
Traditionally Northern Ireland’s flag consists of the white background,
the red cross of Saint George and a red hand. But since 1973 Union
Jack, the official flag of the UK is a flag of the NI.
What are these countries famous for? (symbols, nature, outstanding
people)
*Let’s look at the list of different cities. Read them. What cities are not
situated in Britain? Where is it situated? What can you tell about the
rest cities?
*London is the capital not only of England but also of all the UK. Samuel
Johnson, famous English poet, said “If you tired of London you tired of
life”. What do you think about it? What is your conception of the
statement? (He meant that London is the city of contrasts, it can be
various, there are a lot of entertainment and different kinds of
amusement. It’s not so boring city as we can imagine with the first
sight.)
*What can you tell about London?
First of all, London is the city, where the Queen and the Parliament are
situated. Now we check, what you know about English Queen.
