Aims of the lesson:

Bringing up - to bring up the feeling of love towards the family and to take care of their house.

I. Organization moment
Greetings
- Hello, I am glad to see you. Lets begin our lesson.
- What date is it today?
- What day is it today?
- Who is absent today?
II. Warming up
(The teacher reads proverbs and pupils translate them and give similar proverb.)
- There is no place like home. Нет места, как дом. В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше.
- Those, who live in glass houses, should not throw stones. Живущим в стеклянном доме
не следует бросаться камнями. Не указывай на чужой двор пальцем, а то укажут на
твой вилами. Других не суди, на себя погляди.
- My house is my castle. Мой дом – моя крепость.
- Don’t wash your dirty linen in public. Не стирай бельё на людях. Не выноси сор из
избы.
- Every bird likes its own nest. Всякая птица своё гнездо хвалит. Всяк кулик своё
болото хвалит. Глупа та птица, которой своё гнездо не мило. Хоть по уши плыть,
да дома быть.
- Every dog is a lion at home. Дома каждый пёс лев. Всяк кулик в своём болоте
велик.
- Every dog is valiant at his own door. У своих дверей всяк пёс храбр. На своей улочке
храбра и курочка.
- East or west home is best. Восток или запад, а дом лучше. В гостях хорошо, а дома
лучше.
- Home is where the heart is. Дом там, где сердце.
III. Presentation of new material.

1. Introducing of new vocabulary (reading, translation)
Every pupil make up a sentence with new words.
2. Practice. Reading «Colins`s flat»
I have a friend. His name is Colin. He is eleven. Colin`s family isn`t very large. He
has a father. A mother and a sister. She is five. They have a flat in a new house in
Abai Street. His flat is number 10. Their flat has four rooms and a kitchen. Two of
the rooms are large. Colin and his little sister have separate rooms. Colin`s room is
small, it has one window. There is a bed and a sofa in his room. There is a computer
in his room too. There is a desk on the right. It is Omar`s desk. There are three
chairs in the room. Sister`s room is small too. There is a bed and a table in her room.
There are two chairs. There are pictures, pencils and papers on the table.

Sam: Yes, we have. I like it very much. We live on Gagarin street now.
Jack: How many rooms are there in your flat?
Sam: We have three rooms. A living room and a bedroom.
Jack: How nice it is. Which is your favourite room?
Sam: Actually, I like both rooms. I like to work in my bedroom and I watch TV in our living
room.
Jack: I think it`s rather cold today
