Цели:
1.Развитие коммуникативной компетенции учащихся средствами английского
языка.
Задачи:

1. Закрепление и расширение лексических навыков по теме «Should it be

2. Развитие навыков работы с текстом.
3.Развитие навыков говорения.
4.Закрепление и расширение навыков выражения своего мнения по теме и

foreign language at school and try to
look at this issue from different
points of view.

variants in order of their importance.

I. You have read the text to get more
information. I see you are ready to
discuss the question Should it be
compulsory to learn a foreign
language at school?” I propose a
discussion in the form of talk show
"Public Opinion" (Slide 11). As you
see, people have different opinions
on this issue. Your task is to discuss
the problem from different points of
view. There are three groups. I have
prepared and distributed the roles for
you. 1) Sociologists” You had a poll
and you need to analyze and prepare
a presentation. (They get students`
questionnaires). 2)”Reporters. Your
task is to interview passers-by on the
streets of the city. 3) And all other
participants of the talk show “Public
opinion”. You have 3 minutes.

end of the lesson and the time for
reflection. As you can see, opinions
differ. And what about you? What
