Конспект урока английского языка в 5 классе по теме:
«I was decorating the Christmas tree for two hours»
Цели:
- ввести учащихся в языковую атмосферу;
- привить интерес к изучению английского языка, культуры страны
изучаемого языка;
- совершенствовать произносительные навыки;
- изучить прошедшее продолженное время Past Progressive по аналогии с
настоящим продолженным Present Progressive;
- отработать принципы построения предложений в этих временах на основе
выполнения упражнений из учебника и индивидуальных заданий учителя;
- закрепить пройденную лексику посредством её активного употребления в
речи и использования в упражнениях.
Оборудование: проектор, ноутбук, УМК под редакцией Кузовлева В.П.,
раздаточный материал.
Ход урока.
1. Организационный момент.

What are the people doing? What holidays are the pictures connected with?

Judging by the pictures what are we going to speak about?
What tense did you use to describe the pictures?
Today we are going to repeat all necessary information about Present
Continuous and to upgrade our knowledge skills using Past Continuous
Tense.
Подготовка учащихся к усвоению новых знаний:
1. Let revise some grammar material about Present Progressive Tense.
When is the action happened in Present Progressive Tense? (now, at the moment)
How do we form Present Progressive Tense? (auxiliary verbs am, is,are + Ving)
Now I’m sure you know Present Progressive well.

7. Group work. Divide into two groups. Make up sentences in Present Progressive
and Past Progressive. Be attentively if the sentence is incorrect your team won’t get
a score
