План-конспект урока английского языка в 5 классе по теме: «Asking for/Giving

I. Организационный момент
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m very glad to see you.
Pupils: Good morning, teacher!
Teacher: Today we are going to do a lot of things. First of all look at the blackboard.
What can you see there? Right, it’s a map of some city. Well speak about the city.
II. Индукция. Повторение пройденного материала.
Teacher: Let’s start our lesson with the following task. I have some pictures with the
places of the city and I will ask questions about them.
Teacher: Where can you buy aspirin?
Pupil: In the CHEMIST’S.
Teacher: Where can you go and watch new films?
Pupil: To the CINEMA
Teacher: Where can you rest and have a cup of coffee?
Pupil: At the CAFE.
Teacher: Where can you stay if you are new to the area?
Pupil: At the HOTEL
Teacher: Where can you buy books?
Pupil: At the BOOK SHOP.
Teacher: Where can you buy bread?
Pupil: At the BAKER’S.
Teacher: Where can you buy sport clothing?
Pupil: At the SPORTS SHOP.
Teacher: Where can you buy toys?
Pupil: At the TOY SHOP.
Teacher: Where can you take books which you are need and you don’t have at home?
Pupil: At the LIBRARY.
Teacher: Where can you send or get letters?
Pupil: At the POST OFFICE
Teacher: Well done! We have a lot of pictures.
III. Самоинструкция.
Teacher: Look at the blackboard again. Our map isn’t finished. There are only
three buildings. And, of course, you have to complete the map using our words. You will
ask me and I’ll answer the questions. In order to ask let’s look at the text book. Ex. 1
p.112. (Слушают и разбирают варианты постановки вопросов). So you should use
the ways of asking for directions and then make up a sentence beginning with a phrase
there is…
Pupil: Excuse me, can you tell me the way where the bank is?
Teacher: The BANK is next to the chemist’s on Park Street.
(Учащиеся задают вопросы, используя модели из учебника, учитель отвечает
затем учащиеся подходят к доске, вешают картинку и произносят предложение и
произносят предложение).
Teacher: Well done! Our map is completed.
Teacher: Now our eyes want some rest.
Look left, right
Look up, look down
Look around.
Look at your nose
Look at that rose
Close your eyes
Open, wink and smile.
Your eyes are happy again.
IV. Социоконструкция.
Teacher: As you see our class is devoted to getting about the town. People travel a lot
nowadays and if you ever have a chance to visit a foreign country you should be able to ask
the way to a place you want to go to. On the other hand, lots of tourists from abroad come to
Moscow, and it’d be wonderful if you could be helpful and give the necessary directions. So
let’s learn how to do so. But I have one more question. What modal verbs do we use to
express prohibition/permission? Open your book Ex.4 p.114. Look at the signs and choose
the correct word. Do it in pairs (Учащиеся выполняют упражнение в парах).
Teacher: Now I’ll ask you to listen and read the dialogues. Ex.2. p.112 (Учащиеся
слушают, читают диалоги, отвечают на вопросы учителя).
Teacher: Now we will divide into some groups and make a poster. Draw the traffic sings
you can see in our town in the map. Then explain them to the class. Use can or can’t, must or

Teacher: Now lets see what you have created. Let’s listen to your projects.
(Поработав в команде, учащиеся рассказывают, что получилось).
VI. Рефлексия.
Teacher: Today you’ve practiced asking the way and giving directions. Thank you for
your hard work. How do feel about you work? What task was the most difficult? t he most
interesting? What posters did you like?
VI. Домашняя работа.
Teacher: At home you have to make up your own dialogs using the map and the phrases
(Ex. 3 p. 112).
