Общая тема: “Conflicts: resolution”
III триместр

Тема урока: “How to avoid conflicts?”
Тип урока: комбинированный
Цели урока:
1) учебные: активизация изученного языкового и речевого материала в аудировании,
чтении и устной речи учащихся;
2) развивающие: развитие речевых навыков учащихся, развитие памяти, мышления и
способности логически мыслить;
3) воспитательные: создание условий для формирования умений высказывать своё
мнение о разрешении конфликтов, развитие стремления толерантного отношения к
окружающим людям.
Оснащение урока: классная доска, УМК М.З. Биболетовой “Enjoy English” для учащихся 9
класса, компьютер, CD к УМК.
Этапы урока:
I этап: Начальный этап урока:
1) Организационный момент (приветствие и поверка присутствующих учащихся на
уроке):
- Good morning, dear students! Nice to see you! How are you? Turn to each other, touch your
hands and try to say polite words to each other!
2) Фонетическая и речевая разминки:
а) Введение в тему:
Teacher: - I’d like to start our lesson with a poem. Let’s read the poem and try to guess what we
are going to speak about at the lesson:
What is a conflict?
It’s a harmful thing
That makes us rude and cruel,
It breaks relationship and peace
And starts the fights and quarrels
What should we do?
Who has to help us
Live without conflicts?
Don’t do to people harm!
And learn to live in friendship!
Teacher: - What is the main idea of this poem?
Pupil: - The main idea is a conflict!
Teacher: - That’s right! Then answer the questions:
1) What should we do to live without conflicts?
Pupil: - We must try to understand people and try to be polite.
2) How do you think what we are going to talk at our lesson?
Pupil: - We are going to talk about how to avoid conflicts and how to live in peace.
Teacher: - The theme of our lesson is “How to avoid conflicts?”
б) Проверка домашнего задания:
Teacher: - Now let’s check up our home task: ex. 67, 68 and dialogue vocabulary.
II этап: Основная часть урока:
Цели:
- усвоение новых знаний и проверка ранее изученного материала (блок А);
- усвоение новых знаний и применение приобретенных навыков и умений (блок Б);
- формирование умений и навыков и их применение на практике (блок В).
Блок А:
Teacher: - We’ll discuss the problems, name the causes of conflicts and answer the question “Is
it possible to avoid conflicts?” Try to answer my questions:
1) What is a conflict?
Pupil: - It’s a misunderstanding between people.
2) What kinds of conflicts do you know?
Pupils: - Conflicts between children;
- Conflicts between teachers and pupils;
- Conflicts between friends;
- Conflicts in the family;
- Political conflicts;
- Sport conflicts.
3) Do you have conflicts and with whom?
Pupils: - Of course, we have them….
Блок Б:
Teacher: - Now open your students’ books and find ex. 73, page 124. Your task is: select 5 or
more common causes of conflicts and suggest how to prevent them.
Данное упражнение нацелено на развитие мышления и умения использовать лексический
материал в рамках темы, а также способствует подготовке к монологическому
высказыванию по теме в дальнейшем.
Блок В:
Teacher: - Find ex. 75,76, page 125 and listen to the conversations, find the reasons of conflicts
and answer the questions . You may have notes while listening.
Данные упражнения позволяют обобщить и систематизировать полученные знания по
теме, а также применить их на практике через аудирование.
III этап: Заключительный этап урока:
Teacher: - What should people do to understand each other?
Pupil: - They must be tolerant.
Teacher: - Let’s make up “Rules of tolerant communication”!
Pupils: - Respect the parents.
- Try to understand the people.
- Find the best arguments.
- Be fair, ready to realize the rightness of other people.
Рефлексия:
Teacher: - Today we have tried to understand if it is possible to prevent conflicts and how to do
it. Was it difficult for you to answer these questions? Has our work today helped you to
understand something? To learn new? And what would you like to wish each other?
Pupils: - Be kind, polite, not rude, be friendly, generous…
Teacher: - I hope, you’ve learned much and were positive. I’m pleased with your work. Thank
you very much. Good-bye!
