Конспект урока "Wild and domestic animals in our life" 5 класс

Тема: «Wild and
domestic animals in
our life»
(для учащихся 5 класса)

Цель: познакомить учащихся с животными и их питомцами.
Задачи:
развивающие: развивать способность к непроизвольному запоминанию, а распределению
внимания и выведению языковых закономерностей;
учебные: формировать лексические и грамматические навыки, совершенствовать
произносительные навыки, навыки чтения, аудирования;
воспитательные: воспитывать положительное отношение к домашним и диким животным.
Оснащение урока: мультимедиа.
Ход урока:
I. Начало урока. Введение учащихся в атмосферу иноязычного общения.
1. Приветствие:
- Hello, boys and girls! How are you?
- Fine, thank you! And you?
- I’m all right. Thank you. Who is absent today?
- Nobody is. All are present.
2. Проверка домашнего задания: стр 34, № 2 (читать, переводить).
II. Изучение нового материала.
T: Today we are talking about animals.
-What animals do you know?
P: dog, cat, pig……..
T: Look at the picture and call the animals. New words write in your textbooks. (учащиеся
смотрят на картинки с животными и читают название этих животных, новые названия
записывают в тетрадь), (слайд):
cow, turtle, elephant, lion, squirrel, fish, camel, snake, frog, pig, horse, hen, rooster, duck,
mouse, dog, cat, fox, wolf, zebra, crocodile, bear, hare, monkey, giraffe, bird, butterfly.
- T: Answer the questions (учащиеся тренируются в задавании вопросов и ответов с
помощью схемы): (слайд)
- What is this?
- This is a cat.
- What is this?
- This is а …
- T: Make the plurals nouns (учащиеся тренируются в образовании множественного
числа) (слайд) :
- a cat-cats, a mouse-mice, a lion-lions, a frog – frogs.
- T: Read and repeat (дети читают то, что записано на доске и повторяют) (слайд):
- What is this?
- This is a dog.
- What is this?
- This is a cat ….
- T: Read and translate! (учащиеся читают, повторяют и переводят) (слайд):
- What is this?
- This is an elephant. It is big. It is grey. It is a wild animal.
T: Is it a wild or а domestic animals? (на доске высвечивается картинка животного, дети
называют дикое оно или домашнее, давая полный ответ. Предлагается образец)
(слайд):
- (собака) - It is a domestic animal.
- (лиса) - It is a wild animal.
T: Answer the question and describe the animals. (высвечивается животное, дети
самостоятельно его описывают, давая ответы на вопросы. Правильные ответы
высвечиваются после ответов учащихся.)
Дается образец:
- What is this?
- This is a mouse.
- Is it a wild or a domestic animal?
- It is a wild animal.
- What colour is it?
- It is grey.
- Is it big or small?
- It is small.
T: You should say “Agree” or “Disagree” (высвечивается картинка, учащиеся на вопрос
«Это …?», соглашаются или опровергают его):
T: Is it a frog?
P: Yes, it is.
T: Is it a cat?
P: No, it is not. It is a fox.
T: Where do animals live? (высвечивается животное и информация о том, где оно живет,
учащиеся должны прочитать и повторить):
P: The horse lives on the farm.
P: The fish lives in the river.
P: The frog lives in the pond.
P: The turtle lives in the desert.
P: The elephant lives in the jungle.
P: The bear lives in the forest.
T: Answer the questions use the words: on the farm, in the forest, in the river, in the house.
(высвечивается схема с животными, учащиеся должны сказать, где они живут,
используя опорные слова).
For example: The fox lives in the forest.
T: Составьте новые предложения, заменяя выделенные слова словами, данными в
скобках:
- The cow has got four legs. (the horse, the bear, the lion)
- The dog has got two ears. (the cat, the rabbit, the monkey)…
- The butterfly has got two wings. (the fly, the bee)
T: Read the text and answer the questions (учащиеся должны прочитать текст, перевести
его и найти ответы на вопросы):
It is a cat. It is small. It is white. It is a domestic animal. It has got four legs, two ears and one
tail. The cat lives in the house.
Find answers the questions!
- What is it? — Кто это?
- Thе cat a wild or a domestic animal? — Кошка дикое или домашнее животное?
- What colour is the cat? — Какого кошка цвета?
- Is the cat big or small? — Кошка большая или маленькая?
- Where does the cat live? — Где кошка живёт?
- Has the cat got short or long legs? — У кошки короткие или длинные ноги?
- Has the cat got a long or a short tail? — У кошки короткий или длинный хвост?
(Работа по другой картинке аналогичная).
T: What is the animal? (по силуэту и тексту-описанию учащиеся угадывают, о каком
животном идет речь):
I am a wild animal. I am small. I am grey. I have got four legs (4 ножки), two ears (2 ушка)
and long tail (хвостик). I live in the forest. What am I?
Р: mouse.
T: I am a wild animal. I live in the forest. I have got a big tail (хвост). I like nuts (орехи). I
can jump well (хорошо прыгать). What am I?
P: squirrel.
T: I am a wild animal. I live in the jungle. I am very big. I am grey. I have got four legs and
two big ears. I can't fly (летать) and jump (прыгать), but I can run (бегать).
What am I?
P: elephant.
T: I am a wild animal. I live in the forest. I am big and brown. I have got four legs and a
short (короткий) tail. I like to eat berries (ягоды) and honey (мед). I can run, but I can't fly.
What am I?
P: bear.
T: I am a domestic animal, I live on the farm. I am big. I am pink. I have got a short tail, four
short legs and sharp teeth (острые зубы). I like to eat bananas, meat (мясо) and corn
(зерно). What am I?
P: pig.
III. Закрепление изученного материала.
- What animals do you know?
- What domestic animals do you know?
- What wild animals do you know?
- Where do animals live?
- Do you like animals?
T: - Thank you very much for the lesson, children. It’s time to say good-buy.
- Good-buy, boys and girls!
