«Where would you like to celebrate
Christmas?

Тема урока: «Where would you like to celebrate Christmas and New
year?»
Практическая задача урока:
1. Научить учащихся высказываться по ситуации "Christmas and New
Year " на уровне СФЕ (5 предложений) на основе прочитанного.
2. Организовать чтение и проверку понимания текста по ситуации
"Christmas and New Year in Great Britain, America and Russia"
Воспитательная задача:
1. Воспитание потребности и способности понимать образ жизни
других людей.
2. Формирование потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и
взаимопомощи при парной работе и работе в группах.
3. Формирование терпимого отношения и уважение мнения
другого человека.
Образовательная задача:
Знакомство с особенностями празднования Рождества и Нового года в
англоговорящих странах.
Развивающая задача: способствовать развитию воображения и
мышления, способности классифицировать, логическому мышлению.
Оснащение урока:
Текст песни «We wish you a Merry Christmas», наглядности, ЛСС как
содержательная опора для высказывания, воздушные шары с пожеланиями.
Ход урока:
I этап: Организация класса
А. Приветствие: Hello, boys and girls! Imagine I am Santa Claus. I am from
Great Britain.
Б. Объявление задач урока: Christmas and New Year are coming soon.
Today we shall speak how people celebrate these holidays in different countries. I
have a Christmas tree, help me to decorate it. If we complete the task the balloons
will light up.
В.Фон. зарядка:
Listen to the song which English people sing on Christmas Диагностирующее
чтение: PI - читает, переводит Обучающее чтение: Repeat it after me all
together. (T-Cl) Контролирующее чтение: Nina, read the whole sentence,
please. (PI, P2, P3) T: Sing the song to our guests. С. Речевая подготовка:
T: Do you know how do people congratulate each other on Christmas? P1-
P2 - read the dialogue and translate it T: Respond to my congratulation T:
Merry Christmas! PI: The same to you!
T: Make two circles face to face and congratulate each other. Don't forget to
respond.
T: Congratulate our guests.
3. Look at the pictures and say how people celebrate different holidays?
What do they buy? What present do you get on your birthday? What food
do people buy? Do you usually buy cards or make them? Who cooks
holiday dinner in your family? What does she usually cook?
II этап: Решение первой практической задачи
Ситуация:
I have letters from English, American and Russian children about how they
celebrate Christmas and New Year
КЗ: Read and say if Christmas is as popular as New Year in these countries.
Снятие трудностей: Read the words which may be unknown to you

Решение II задачи:
Ситуация: Imagine you have a chance to celebrate Christmas and New Year
in one of these countries.
КЗ: Discuss in groups where you would like to go.

Т: Do you want to know your fortune for the next year. Choose a balloon and prick it
