Ход урока
I. Организационный момент. (1 мин.)
Дежурный суворовец отдает рапорт.
T: Good morning! At ease! Take your places.
II. Этап мотивации к учебной деятельности . (5 мин.)
T: Let’s guess the theme of our today's lesson. The pictures on the whiteboard will
appear and disappear very quickly. One common thing will be depicted in all the
pictures. The name of this thing will be the theme of our lesson. Guess it.
(Слайд 1) Суворовцы отгадывают тему урока.
T: You are right. It's "Palaces and Castles”. During our lesson we’ll revise our
knowledge of the Passive Voice, practice this grammar, watch a video and try to
write an article about Buckingham Palace. I think you’ll do your best. I wish you
good luck!
T: During our lesson we won't speak about all the palaces in Great Britain. We'll
speak only about the official residences of the British queen. What official
residences of the British queen do you know? Обучающиеся дают названия
официальных резиденций Британской королевы.
T: You are right. The official residences of the British queen are: Buckingham
Palace, Windsor Castle, the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Hillsborough Castle.

Now I'll give you the information about only two of them. You should guess what
palaces I mean.
1. The Palace of Holyroodhouse.
It's the official residence of the British monarch which is situated in Scotland. It
was built 886 years ago. At first it was the palace where the monks lived. It
became the residence of the kings and queens only in the16th century. The largest
room of the palace is decorated with 110 portraits of the Scottish monarchs.
2. Buckingham Palace.
This palace is situated in the capital of England. It was built in the 18th century.
Although it has one of the greatest collections of works of art, we can't say that it's
a museum or an art gallery.

III. Этап первичного закрепления знаний и способов действий (10 мин)
T: During our lesson we'll learn how to describe palaces and castles. Let's start.
The situation is: You are a famous journalist. You've come to Great Britain to
write an article about Holyroodhouse. What sort of article is this? Which topics
would you include in your article?
Обучающиеся отвечают на вопросы, делают Задание №1 в раздаточном
материале, затем преподаватель проверяет правильность выполнения задания
на интерактивной доске. (Слайд 7).
T: Now let's listen to the text about Holyroodhouse, follow it in your papers and
label the paragraphs with the headings.
Обучающиеся слушают текст, выполняют Задание №2 в раздаточном
материале, затем преподаватель проверяет правильность выполнения задания
на интерактивной доске. (Слайд 8).
IV. Этап актуализации грамматического материала. (10 мин).
T: What grammar phenomenon was used while describing Holyroodhouse?
Обучающиеся указывают на страдательный залог.
T: Underline all forms of the Passive Voice in the text about Holyroodhouse.
Обучающиеся выполняют задание. Затем преподаватель проверяет
правильность его выполнения на интерактивной доске. (Слайд 9).
T: The forms of what two passive tenses do you see here?
Обучающиеся выделяют два времени Present Indefinite Passive и Past
Indefinite Passive.
T: Which forms are Present Indefinite Passive and which are Past Indefinite
Passive.
Обучающиеся выполняют задание на интерактивной доске, вспоминают
правило образования форм прошедшего и настоящего времени
страдательного залога. (Слайд 9).
T: Let's see what situations do we use Passive in.
Обучающиеся выполняют задание, вспоминают правило употребления
страдательного залога. (Слайд 10).
T: Let's remember how to make up sentences with Passive.
Обучающиеся составляют предложения из слов на карточках. Затем
преподаватель проверяет правильность его выполнения на интерактивной
доске. (Слайд 10). После чего обучающиеся вспоминают правило
употребления by и with в предложениях страдательного залога.
T: Let's use the Passive Voice for the description of different places.
Обучающиеся выполняют Задание №3 в раздаточном материале. Затем
преподаватель проверяет правильность его выполнения на интерактивной
доске. (Слайды 11-14).
V. Этап творческого применения и добывания новых знаний. (15 мин).
T: Let's watch a videoscene and fill in the gaps.
Перед просмотром обучающиеся догадываются о значении новых слов, во
время просмотра выполняют Задание №4 в раздаточном материале. Затем
преподаватель проверяет правильность его выполнения на интерактивной
доске. (Слайды 16-19).
VI. Этап информирования обучающихся о задании на с/п. (1 мин).
T: Our lesson is over. Thank you for taking an active part in it. Many students
have got excellent marks today.
VII. Этап рефлексии (3 мин.)
T: Now I would like you to appreciate your work during the lesson. Fill in the
form.
