Тема: « Important days»

Тема: «Speaking about important days.»
Цель:
образовательная: развитие навыков и умений устной речи;
развивающая: развитие речевых способностей, памяти, коммуникативных навыков;
воспитательная: воспитание культуры взаимоотношений при работе в группе,воспитание
интереса к изучению языка.
Задачи:
1. активизировать лексический материал;
2.обучать чтению с выборочным извлечением информации;
3.развитие творческих способностей.
Оборудование:
1. УМК «Enjoy English» -6 класс ( М.З.Биболетова, О,А. Денисенко, Н.Н. Трубанева);
2. наглядный материал;
3. аудиозапись.
4. Компьютер, проектор
Ход урока
I.Орг.момент: беседа с классом
Good morning , dear children. I’ m glad to see you. How are you? What is the weather like today?
How many lessons do you have today? What are they?
Today we are going to speak about holidays. What holidays do you know?
II. Фонетическая зарядка:
Look at the blackboard! Read the names of the holidays:
New Year, Women’s Day, Christmas, Easter, Victory Day, Independence Day, Motherland Defender’s Day
May Day , Day of Knowledge.
What British holidays do you know?
Look at the screen! (презентация )
III. Речевая разминка:
Find the odd word!
1. Love, flowers, Valentine, summer.
2. Christmas, pumpkin, Santa Claus, presents.
3. Wish, greeting card, telegram, room.
4. Celebrate, jump, invite, wish.
5. Birthday, candle, office, presents.
IV. Развитие навыков устной речи:
OK. Let’s read the list of the holidays once more.
Are they international or only Russian?
How do we celebrate them?
Describe holidays , using the word combinations:
Celebrate, decorate the flat ( house), cook special dishes, buy (give) presents, send special cards, invite
guests, sing songs, dance, play board games, take photos, watch TV, have a good time, chat with each
other, salute, have a military parade.

Word combinations:

presents; help about the house; send SMS to friends and relatives; coloured lights and decoration;
spring holiday; set off fireworks; go to church; have a good time; keep it a secret; cook roast turkey
and a special pudding; sing at midnight; guess who send the card.

family so I'll try to answer your question.
I think that the most popular holidays are New Year and Easter. But there ... (be)
special holiday in our family, which I want to tell you about. It's Victory Day.My
great-grandfather ... (fight) for his country in the Great Patriotic War . Не ... (be) a
doctor. He was at the victory in Berlin in 1945. He ... (not, like) to speak about the
