Тип урока: обобщающий;
Форма проведения: конкурс;
УМК: М.З. Биболетова «Enjoy English - 5»;
Цели урока:
- закрепление изученного материала по теме: «Профессии», «Черты
характера»;
- повышение интереса к изучению английского языка;
- развивать любознательность, фантазию и языковую догадку;
- формирование уважительного отношения к разным профессиям;
- совершенствование навыков говорения, чтения, аудирования и письма.
Учебная цель:
- активизация изученных лексических единиц; умение обобщать
полученные знания и использовать их в новых ситуациях;
Развивающая цель:
- развитие понимания иноязычной речи на слух; развитие навыков
устной речи;
Воспитывающая цель:
- воспитание ответственного отношения к выбору профессии; умение
аргументировать свою точку зрения.
Культуроведческий фактор:
- названия английских профессий;
- лексика, связанная с чертами характера.

Ход урока:
I. Организационный момент:
Teacher: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. Today we are going to
speak about different profession. We’ll play "TIC – TAC - toe" game. You can see
9 fields with the tasks on the blackboard. One team plays crosses, the second team
plays zeroes. By selecting one job and by following it you will receive the mark. If
you're wrong, in this cage is a sign of your opponents. When you open task 4 you
automatically open the task 9 and Vice versa. Task 4 is a competition of captains,
and the task 9 is for the team. Thus your chance to win is doubled, if you correctly
do both of the competitions. There is a fair jury on our lesson today. It will monitor
the proper execution of the tasks. I wish you the best of luck. And at the end of the
lesson we’ll see who knows about them more.

II. Основная часть:
1. Фонетическая зарядка:
Teacher: How are you today?
What is your father (mother)?
Is your mother a doctor (nurse)?
Where does your mother work?
Does your father work in a hospital?
What do you want to be?
Do you want to be a dentist?
Was your grandmother a teacher or a doctor?
Were your grandparents doctors?
Well done! Thank you!
Let`s begin our lesson. Look at the blackboard! And repeat the following words
after me.
1) job – регулярно оплачиваемая работа;
2) profession – профессия, специальное образование;
3) occupation – род занятий.
Which word should we use? Right you are. This is the word job.
Oh, wonderful. We begin.
Teacher: Introduce yourselves, please.
Team 1: “Creative” (for example). Who is the captain of your team?
Team 2: “Independent” (for example). Who is your captain?

Task 1: “In the world of professions”.
Teacher: Your teams should name the professions. Who can name more?
В конкурсе участвуют обе команды (по 7 человек в каждой команде).
Учащиеся по одному называют профессии. Жюри оценивает работу.
Task 2: “What are they?”
Teacher: You see that there are many interesting professions in the world. But
what do you know about them?
Команды получают карточки с названиями профессий. В пустую клетку,
рядом с названием профессии, ставят номер прослушанного текста.

Texts:
1. A person of this profession should be very sociable and kind. His work is
connected with books. People come here to take books for reading.
2. This specialist cures teeth. He should be very responsible.
3. This specialist should be very intelligent and love children.
4. This profession is very important. A specialist of this profession helps us
when we have illness.
5. It’s usually a woman. She doesn’t work. But she has a lot of work at home.
She should cook, wash and clean the house.
Task 3: “Who - questions”.
Teacher: We continue to talk about professions. Will you answer my questions?
Командам по очереди задаются вопросы:
1. Who works with a computer?
2. Who drives a car?
3. Who sells different things in a shop?
4. Who treats people?
5. Who plays in a theatre?
6. Who has his own business?
Task 4: “The competition of captains”.
Капитаны заполняют бланк анкеты, необходимый при приёме на работу.
Task 5: “Traits of character”.
Teacher: All professions require traits of character. You’re given a list of traits.
Which of them are the most important and necessary?
Команды получают карточки с положительными и отрицательными
качествами. Напротив каждого слова необходимо поставить «+» или «-».

Task 6: “Poems”.
Учащиеся читают выразительно стихи наизусть по теме «Профессии».

Task 7: “Tag - questions”.
Teacher: Today I asked you many questions. But I don’t know if you can put the
questions. I mean tag – questions. What is a tag – question? Yes, well done.
Do my task. You should clue the tag in a proper place.
Учащиеся получают карточки, добавляют «хвостики» к вопросам.

Task 8: “Rebuses”.
Teacher: Each team must guess the 6 rebuses.
Каждая команда получает по 6 ребусов. Необходимо их правильно отгадать и
записать ответы. Если обе команды справились с этим конкурсом, то можно
дать более сложные ребусы.
Task 9: “Crossword puzzle”.
Teacher: You must guess 8 names of professions.
Среди множества букв по вертикали и горизонтали необходимо найти
названия профессий (всего 8).
