There are many interesting people in the world. Some people are famous for their
songs and poems, Some people are famous for their scientific achievements
(научные достижения). Some people are famous actors and sportsmen.
The person I admire is Stephen Hawking. Stephen Hawking is 73 and he is a
famous English scientist. He tries to explain the laws of the universe (законы
вселенной). He is keen on cosmology and physics. He wrote many books, but the
book “a brief history of Time” is his bestseller. I admire him because he is very
brave. Stephen Hawking is very ill and he can’t move at all. But despite his illness,
he didn’t give up on life and worked hard all his life.
