Разработка урока английского языка по теме:
A musical tour of Britain/Музыкальный тур по Британии
Цель: познакомить учащихся с наиболее популярными музыкальными местами Британии
Задачи:
1. Способствовать расширению кругозора у учащихся через знакомство с музыкальной
культурой страны, язык которой они изучают
2. Познакомить учащихся с лексикой по теме «Музыка»
3. Повторить грамматический материал об употреблении определенного артикля с личными
именами и географическими названиями
4. Использовать изучаемый на уроке материал в упражнениях
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент, постановка цели и задач урока
Good afternoon students. Today in our lesson you’ll know some information about the
musical Britain. Also we’ll remember the using of the article “the” and we’ll do the
exercises about new topic.
II. Подготовка к восприятию
1. First of all please try to answer my questions:
1) What parts of the UK do you remember?
2) What is Britain famous for in musical life?
3) What outstanding musicians of Britain do you know?
And now I want you to do a little exercise to know how much information you do have about the
musical Britain.

2. Then please lets read the information about usage the article “the”, page 188
После прочтения правил по грамматике учащиеся выполняют упражнение из приложения №2
III. Фонетическая зарядка, знакомство с новой лексикой по теме «Музыка»
1. Look at the board and firstly repeat after me the new words about music:
Tuneless, annual, a brass band, complicated, catchy, a tune, to stage, an opera house, a full house, a
first night, to take place, a seat, conduct, conductor, jazz, instrument, romantic, sentimental, choral,
composer, pianist, symphony
2. And now I want you to do an exercise about these words.

3. Then check up your answers with the translations in your students book, page 35
IV. Восприятие материала
1. So, you are quite ready to start speaking about the musical Britain! At the beginning I suggest you to
work with the presentation “A musical tour of Britain”. Here you’ll know some interesting facts.

2. Well, you’ve known a lot about the musical Britain and it’s time use it in exercises

Open your books at page 35 exercise 1, 1). Here you should answer the question: What types of music
are there in Britain?
3. Let’s continue working with this text. Your exercise is to compare the map on the page 34 and this
story about the music in Britain and answer the questions for the exercise 1, 3), page 36.
4. Next exercise is 1, 4) on the page 36. Here you have to find in the text the sentences that the
following ideas in it.
5. After your work with the text we’ll work with the word units of the exercise 2, page 37 where will
answer the question What would you tell your foreign friends about some musical places of Russia?.
But first of all you’ll complete this text with the suitable words from the box.
V. Рефлексия

1. So, today in our lesson you’ve known some information about the musical Britain. What do you like

musical map of your area.
