Урок английского языка: «Мой родной Панаевск»
Цели: развитие личности, ее познавательных интересов, нравственной культуры, творческих способностей, инициативы
и самостоятельности; получение и расширение знаний учащихся о родном крае, его истории, традициях и культуре;
патриотическое, нравственное, эстетическое воспитание на основе формирования исторического сознания.
Задачи:
• образовательные – совершенствование речевых навыков и развитие умения в говорении, аудировании, чтении и
письме;
• Развивающие – развитие способности и готовности использовать английский язык в реальном общении,
формирование умения представить свою страну в условиях межкультурного общения, развитие умения
самостоятельно изучать английский язык, развитие умения работать в группах
• Воспитывающие – формирование бережного отношения к окружающему миру, воспитание чувства любви к
родному краю, повышение интереса к английскому языку

1. Text “ Му native Panayevsk”
Our country is very big. When it is morning in one part, there is evening or night in another. I live more than 200 km far
from Salekhard. Of course I live in the Yamal Nenets Autonomous Area. The name of my small settlement is Panayevsk. It is
situated in the South of the Yamal Peninsula, on the bank of Ob Yangot's channels. May be there are no interesting places for
visitors but I know that the people of Panayevsk like their settlement. And their favourite place for rest is tundra. Panayevsk is
very nice in autumn as it is surrounded with tundra it is like a carpet of many colours. The main street is Obskaya. There is
1school, 1 post-office there. We have no theatres but we have a Palace of Culture. There we see plays and shows. It is a small
settlement. In general it is a settlement of reindeer breeders.
In the center of our settlement there is a square with a monument to the perished soldiers of our country. It is the
monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War.
We like to go to the tundra, to pick up cloudberries, cranberries and mushrooms, to have a rest. Our Panayevsk is very
small but cosy.
