“Toying with the Past”
Цель урока: создание условий для самореализации учащихся при решении поставленных в
ходе урока задач.
Задачи урока:
1. Содействовать установлению в сознании ребенка устойчивых связей между
накопленным и новым опытом познавательной и практической деятельности.
2. Развитие навыка аудирования с использованием изученного лексико-
грамматического материала.
3. Формирование навыков чтения с полным понимаем содержания.
4. Развитие творческих способностей учащихся
Учебник: “Spotlight 6”
Оборудование: учебник, мел, доска, компьютер, проектор, интерактивная доска, колонки,
пластиковые стаканчики, шары для игры в настольный теннис, нитки
1. Приветствие, организационный момент.

2. Речевая зарядка
Let’s start our lesson. Please, answer my questions.

And now at the end of the lesson we will do a small project. You can see a cup, a ball and
strings on your desks. We will make a famous Victorian Times toy “Cup and Ball”. Please,
listen to me now. I will you a history of this toy.
One of the earliest and favorite games played by children is the cup and ball toy. This toy
was popular in Europe with adults and children alike. Cups and balls came to England from
France where it was called bilbocquet. In 1767 in America, Charles Shipman advertised cups
and balls in the New York Journal or General Advertiser. Cups and balls range in size from
about three inches in length with a tiny ball, to 12 to 14 inches long with a ball the size of a golf
ball.
