ПЛАН – КОНСПЕКТ
открытого урока, проводимого в 3 «б» классе школы №3 г. Аткарска
по теме «Christmas»
Дата проведения: 19 января 2010 года
Цели:
1. Совершенствовать умения и навыки устной речи
2. Расширение кругозора учащихся через лингвострановедческую информацию.
3. Развивать навыки аудирования.
4. Поддерживать интерес к изучению английского языка
Тип урока: комбинированный
Основные задачи:
Обучающие:
- практика речевой деятельности (монологической и диалогической);
- активизация лексики по теме;
- формирование и развитие коммуникативных умений;
- расширение словарного запаса.
Развивающие:
- развитие мышления, умения дать оценку, высказать своё мнение на английском языке;
- интеллектуальное развитие;
- развитие фантазии, воображения;
- развивать умения и навыки чтения про себя с полным пониманием прочитанного.
Социо-культурные:
- развитие образного мышления;
- расширение кругозора.
Воспитательные:
- формирование уважения и интереса к изучению английского языка;
- воспитание культуры общения;
- формирование умения работать в парах, помогать друг другу.
Оборудование урока:
- карточки – таблички с именами детей;
- компьютерная презентация «Christmas»;
- муляжи и рисунки некоторых продуктов питания;
- костюм Санта-Клауса;
- аудиоприложение, песня «Merry Christmas»; Jingle bells;
- искусственная ёлка;
- подарки детям.
Ход урока:
I. Орг. момент.
(слайд 1)
T.: Good morning, good morning,

T.: Sit down, please. Today I will be your teacher. My name is Natalia Nikolaevna.
Get ready for the lesson. Let’s begin our lesson. What date is it today?

T.: What day of the week is it today?
Р.: It is Tuesday.
T.: OK. Ребята, а о чём сегодня мы с вами собираемся поговорить, я предлагаю
догадаться.. (прослушивание песни)
Now listen to a song and guess what holiday is it about. (ответы детей)
Yes, you are right, this song is about Christmas. Would you like to visit a Christmas party?
Р.: Yes, of course!
T.: OK. But before we get there, we must do some exercises.
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
T.: At first, we must repeat some sounds to speak about Christmas. Children, tell me, please, what
season is it now?
Р.: It is winter.
T.: Yes, you are right. You know, it’s very cold in winter. Here is Thomas, the elephant. His hands are
freezing, he blows on his hands. (слайд 3)

Jack, the dog. He is angry, his tail is freezing, and that’s why he growls. (слайд 4)

IV. Знакомство с историей празднования Рождества.

T.: Now attention, please! In England people begin to celebrate Christmas on 24
th
of December. You
know it is a religious holiday. (слайд 8)
Mary and Joseph were Christ's parents. They went to Bethlehem. Their way was dangerous and very
long. It was getting darker and darker. They didn't know where to go. A lot of bright stars
appeared in the sky. Suddenly Mary saw a cave. “Let's have a sleep in this place,” she said to her
husband. At last they found a place where Mary gave a birth to her child. He was a boy. A lot of
people came to see him. They brought many presents for him. Many bright stars appeared
in the sky when Christ was born. But among them was the biggest and the brightest star that
showed the way to his place of birth. (слайды 9-14)
T.: Children, what did you understand?

T.: English people like Christmas very much. They decorate their houses with lights. (слайд 15)
It is very nice and bright at night. (слайд 16)

You know, all children become presents on New Year in Russia.
Whom do we write letters ?
Р.: We write letters to Ded Moros.
T.: And English children write letters to Santa Claus. Here you can see him.

V. Работа с текстом учебника.
T.: Let’s find out what presents became our friends from England. Now, please, open your student’s
books at page 51. Go on reading! In 3 minutes you must tell me what presents would Jill/ Rex/ Jim like
to have on Christmas?

VI. Физкультминутка.
T.: I think you are tired. Let’s have a rest! Listen to a song and

VII. Разыгрывание Рождественской вечеринки.
T.: Well done children! Now you are ready to visit a Christmas party. Image that you are at the party.
Let’s do a circle and sing a song. (прослушивание песни,
заучивание, слайд 24)
T.: How will we congratulate each other with Christmas? (слайд 25)

T.: Don’t you think it’s something wrong with our party. We haven’t got Santa Claus. Where is he?
