Цели и задачи урока:
1. Познакомить учащихся с наречиями образа действия.
2. Ознакомить учащихся с правилами орфографии, касающимися
правописания наречий.
3. Тренировать устную речь учащихся.
Ход урока.
1. Организационный момент.
Good morning, boys and girls! Glad to see you. Good morning, dear guests!
Welcome to our lesson.
Now let’s start our English lesson and take your seats. At first I’d like to
introduce myself. My name is … and I’m your English teacher today.
The theme of our lesson is “Do you want to have fun? ”. I think you can guess
what we will speak about today, can’t you?
Look! We have a strange letter. I wonder if you could understand it. Try to
decode this inscription.

ADVERBs OF manner Tell how something is done: well, loudly, easily
Answer my question, “How can we form an adverb of manner from adjective?”
Adverbs of manner are formed by adding ly to the corresponding adjectives.
For example:
Adjective + ly = Adverb of Manner
bad badly
complete completely
normal normally
surprising surprisingly
When the adjective ends in l, IT DOUBLES . For example:
When the adjective ends in y preceded by a consonant, the y is usually changed to
i.

Tastes differ. Different people like different things, different people have
different hobbies.
Some people are fond of animals, others are interested in art. But the most
popular hobbies are sport, watching TV, playing musical instruments and
computer games.
Let’s see what the most popular pastime activities are. Look at the screen,
match the words and make up word combinations. Then write the answers. Use
the model.
